New England Motor Lodge

The place was nice but was very expensive for a smallish room and a view of a tin fence.

I had a bit of an emergency and needed somewhere to work for the day/night (due to Telstra outage at a neighbouring town where I live and work). I called to see if they had any availability and was relieved when they did and started on my 45 minute drive there. Sandra, who took my initial call, was super friendly, warm and welcoming and did her best to give me all of the information I needed about the property and expedited a room for me. The room was easy to find, the parking space was ample and right out the front of the room. The room itself was clean, spacious and very well appointed. There was a large desk space, desk chairs and a comfy reading chair. The air con ensured I was warm all day and the electric blanket kept me toasty in bed. The mattress was soft, the linen clean and warm. The shower water was hot! Immediately! And the water pressure was excellent. The room has a mini fridge - well stocked; and a small but sufficient (& tempting) supply of snacks for purchase ; along with a microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. They offer room service for breakfast and dinner and have an onsite restaurant for both. I ordered room service for dinner. I had the chicken picatta (sp?). The sauce was rich and comforting as were the vegetables. The chicken was a bit tough / dry. Amahlah, who delivered the room service, was sweet, polite and efficient. A big thank you to Sandra for the smooth check in and check out. A wonderful ambassador for the property.

Our stay at the New England Motor Lodge was amazing! We chose to stay here for one night on our way through on our family road trip and everything was remarkable. The room was clean, organised and inviting. The air con and electric blankets topped the stay off during the cold night that we had! The room service was AMAZING! Definitely recommend the lasagne, one of the best I’ve ever had!!! Would stay here again and again if I ever needed!! An overall amazing experience and thank the New England Motor Lodge for such a wonderful stay!

The New England Motor Lodge is the nicest motel in Glen Innes hands down. The restaurant meals we had were amazing. The bed in our room left a lot to be desired, it may be time to upgrade the beds. The pool was lovely for an afternoon swim and the rooms were clean and tidy with fresh towels for day 2.

Excellent room beautiful staff and beautiful food highly recommended I stay away in motels due to work and this one is the top of my list will definitely be back room's clean so is bathroom excellent room service food was easy to order and pay for in room

We stayed in a self contained apar**ent. The apar**ent is fresh, clean and very comfortable. The pool was great. The room was very quiet with no road noise, and the back gate onto the main street was very convenient to walk to local pubs and grocery store. Check-in and out was quick and easy. We had the B&B package and the included breakfast was hearty and had gluten free options. Definitely would stay here again.

There was a double payment made by Wotif and no way of reversing the double payment by either New England Motor Lodge or Wotif . It is up to us, the customer to sort out with our bank ! Not at all happy by some else’s mistake

The comfortable bed and pillows were well appreciated after a long day on the road . The restaurant was superb and the staff attitude was very welcoming. There was a lot of tradesmen on site also staying but all customers were attended in due time
