Pleased it was for only 1 night. Room too expensive as it was small especially the bed. And the traffic noise kept me awake all night.

Food was fantastic. Room heater working excellently. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The Glencoe Inn is a gem! It is small hotel with modern accommodations, staffed by hospitable locals, and perfectly sited as a gateway to the highlands and the inland seas (plus, it comes with a highlands sunset that is incomparable!). The pleasant surprise is its bistro and restaurant… a local hub that serves top quality fare. If you need a “base camp” yo explore the southwestern highlands, look no further!

Most picturesque hotel in the heights of the Northern Scottish Highlands. Service questionable and understaffed. No fresh towels during stay. Food in the restaurant seemed to be held under hot lamps and came out dry. Rooms need more attention to detail dusty and mouldy.

Our welcome to the Glencoe Inn & Gathering was so lovely and Stella and the rest of the team made us and our dog Nelly feel so at home. The interior was gorgeous, two lovely options for dinner onsite and extra touches with access to a garden spa area. The lounge area was so inviting and cosy and we felt so well looked after throughout our stay. The room was perfect, breakfast lovely, views out of this world, the tour and welcome was fantastic and they really understood what it means to be dog friendly.

Do not waste your time and money. A very frosty and unfriendly welcome (stressed & unhappy member of staff) which set a negative tone and it didn’t get any better. The car park and grounds were full of litter. The place screams unloved. Rooms are basic, not worth the £200 we paid, but were at least very clean. The bar / restaurant is very disappointing. We booked to eat in the steak and lobster bistro and were told we were very lucky as there was only one lobster and steak left due to a problem with their suppliers. Turns out we weren’t very lucky as both the steak and lobster were poorly prepared and were probably not fresh. Issues happen but they were very defensive and of the opinion it wasn’t their fault. Lots of grumbling from the staff which is not what you want to hear as a guest. We proceeded to eat in an empty, unloved restaurant (compete with cleaning product and dirty cloth on the windowsill where we ate - still there the next morning) with one member of staff who was trying his best but very much overworked and tasked with far too much responsibility over both restaurants and the bar. The blame for this poor experience is most likely the fault of the owners of this hotel group as staffing and training is totally lacking. Avoid this place at all costs until more staff are hired/trained and the supplier issues are resolved. Overpriced and lacking in every way.

Just back from an overnight with my husband and have no faults. The place was quirky and cosy, staff were all lovely but a massive shout out to Stella who was fantastic (full of banter and good stories). Good base for what we needed and would definitely return in future.

Based on website pictures and descriptions, we were excited to stay. We pulled up and both my daughter-in-law and myself said almost at the same time, "This isn't it is it? It can't be." Then we check in to our rooms. We had a loch view, my son & his wife had a mountain view. Both rooms were tiny. I could not pass my husband to get to bathroom if he was standing up. He had to move out of the way. There was no room for our suitcases to be open. There was barely any space between the radiator and the bed. The bathroom was ok. Our loch view was the parking lot and road with a sliver of loch ACROSS the street. The mountain view was only the tip of the mountain as the building was in the way of the rest of the view. Their room was just as small. No room to move around. No room to open suitcases. I opened mine on the floor but then we had to step over it each time we moved around. It was clean. That is the only positive. I took pictures as well as my son did of their room but there is no place in this review to post them.
