The decore is fantastic but the dining room falls short on service levels and provides just ordinary pub food.. The young staff would benefit from a bit of customer service training - the basics are there but not polished The food is very ordinary in presentation and quality. It simply does not befit the splendid setting.

Good service, good food and very nice atmosphere. I went on the spur of the moment with a friend and we were both pleasantly surprised with the service and with the food. The special included a soup of the day which was a nice surprise. The menu was good but I felt the prices a bit steep

An extraordinary dinner for four that way surpassed ‘pub grub’. Meat dishes that were tender and perfectly cooked, delicious sides and a unique take on a warm salmon salad. Outstanding! I eat out a lot and this is one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Happy to highly recommend the Morphy Arms. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 star rating for food and staff service 1 star rating for venue hire Went there last Saturday night for a 40th. Birthday party which was suppose to be a "private function in a private room" but turned out to be the complete opposite!! The so called private room was unable to be closed off due to the doors being broken, which were supposed to have been fixed a couple of days prior, so the party was fully exposed to the general public in the bar/dining area. This it made rather hard to hear people at the party talking due to the noise coming from the area, plus to make matters worse a live band set up right next to the room we had and starting playing, exasperating the noise even more! This just made the whole night unbearable with patrons in the public area whistling, shouting and yahooing constantly! And we also had a drunk patron enter our room for a couple of minutes before leaving without incident. So people if you ever are going to book this venue for a "private function in a private room" MAKE SURE THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET, that way you will not have to put up with the garbage that we endured on the night. What was suppose to be a nice night celebrating a special occasion was basically ruined for all there!!

The music from downstairs was far too loud while we were trying to sleep. The fill in receptionist accidentally charged me for the room when I'd already paid online when I booked so I had to go back downstairs and ask for a refund. We went to the restaurant for dinner and the staff weren't very friendly, we had to ask them to wipe our table down and it was odd that we had to go back to the counter to collect our meals and take them to our table. I then had to ask for cutlery as we weren't given any or told where to collect.

Staff brilliant.great food and service.the room let in alot of noise.

A wide selection on the menu all well priced, the family had a variety of dishes with not a single complaint, the ambience was good and the staff attentive and courteous. Good parking on site available

Meals were lovely
