Harrington River Lodge

Staff went above and beyond. Great water views, rooms are huge, lots of great little extras to make your stay more enjoyable. Bed was comfortable, pool was so relaxing. Food was beyond at the tavern. Cant wait to go back.

Great location, great place.

The room was nice, as booked it only because of the spa (wrong size plug) travelled an extra hour each way just for the spa which couldn't use, the house keeping was way below standards as spiders in room, noodles in draws, fridge didn't stay closed (morning tea for sunday went off) called reception about 9:40pm in regards to the spa explained that we paid extra and travelled an extra hr each way just for that reason. The food on other hand was a totally disappointing as when we ordered we asked for our entrees to come first now when buzzer went off the partner went to get the entrees well after taking little time i went to.see what the hold up was she was walking back with the mains ($80 seafood platter) which being the size of partner and what it was someone should of brought it over, than a few mins later they than bring the entree, but even before we had the chance to finish both they then brought oer the dessert which we were no where near ready, staff told us they will take it back and get fresh ones for us when we are ready well when it came time they brought out the one they tried to give to us 20mins ago my partners ice-cream was just a puddle of liquid (not fresh) as i have worked in the seafood industry for over 20yrs i can say what was brought out to us for an $80 platter was no where even close to $50 worth of food and everything would of taken no more than 10mins to cook. Only way I'd return is if the property gave some sort of reimbursement or discount

Have stayed here before and that is why i stayed again rooms are great and get blown away with the location and views the bistro and bar is awesome great location. See you again in October on my way home from Bathurst

This place is a hidden gem! Beautiful, spacious rooms at a very reasonable price! We loved our stay and wished it was for longer. Stepping out of our room and into the pool area with river beyond that. It was an ideal location and just a short stroll to the tavern for afternoon drinks followed by dinner. I will definitely be back!

Have stayed before, the Lodge is alongside the river with a lovely walk. There is a Hotel attached which is great for lunch or dinner. They even have happy hour. The person who is to sign you in is difficult to find otherwise no problems. Lovely king size bed with separate spa bath and shower. Quite a large room with a great patio whether upstairs or downstairs.
