Baymont by Wyndham Glenview

My experience here was extremely horrible. I came here with my friends and we’ve had to change the keycard about 7 times. The lights are too dim for my liking and there is no over head likes. The elevator button is coming off.

I have been trying to work with the manager, Mike, who has been extremely difficult to get a hold of to get a refund for bothof our rooms that we booked, but we’re unable to stay in because of the black mold on the ceilings in the bathrooms, the musty smell in rooms, the peeling vinyl on the headboards the overhead lamps on the headboards do not work. Getting a constant runaround, trying to get the refund, which still hasn’t been applied to my bank account Now trying to call the hotel and reach them is next to impossible. I have sent several emails with no contact back on Email. I have calledseveral times was able to talk with a couple of people but now when I call it rings once and says the mailbox is full, so cannot contact anybody there. I will be trying to contact Baymont /Wyndham corporate to let them know how their hotel is being run even if it’s privately owned I will continue continuous contact until I get refund

The room for the most part was horrible. No shower curtain, no ice bucket, the paint on the headboard is coming off both beds, the dome lights didn’t work. The phone didn’t have any dictionary on it to even call front desk. The front desk lady at check in wasn’t very helpful and housekeeping doesn’t understand much English.

It was a pleasure staying in this place as the staff members was very friendly and caring also there was free breakfast enough food for everyone who showed up I truly enjoyed open and clear communication hope to come back in the near future

Staff was not friendly nor knowledgeable. One lady had zero answers and the guy hung up on me twice when trying to contact hotel.

I found a cheaper rate for my room and was charged the highest rate at check in. I was also told by the desk clerk the wrong place to call for a refund for the cheaper reservation. It was warm in my room so I didn't pull back the covers on the bed. When I pulled them back the next day I found bed bugs. I scooped one up in a cup and took it to the front desk. They changed my room and I wanted to speak to the manager and was told they would be there in the morning. They were there and gone by 10 am and never contacted me. I also sent 2 emails about the bugs and never got a response. Since they ignored the bed bug problem they could have spread them through out the motel.

The bed was hard, the noise from the freeway woke me up more than once. The staff should have given me the instructions for the late check out when I checked in. I called the front desk in the morning to get a late checkout, and no one answered the phone.The late fee was too high given the amount of time (30 min) I was alloted
