We just had a wonderful breakfast it was delicious. Our waitress Kim M. was very pleasant and helpful. The head chef even came out to see how we liked the food. Would highly recommend anyone visiting in the Gloucester area to stop by. Thank you!

DONT RISK BOOKING HERE!!
Booked almost 6 months in advance and crossed the country only to arrive and be told they overbooked and absolutely refused to find a resolution or a refund. We were left stranded with no local availability anywhere on the busiest time of the year. No apology from the owner, no help finding another room, nothing. Rude, rude, rude! Completely unprofessional attitude. Choose anywhere else!

From check in to check out, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hotel has wonderful charm and is decently appointed. It is close to wonderful dining, both onsite and nearby. It is also close to the train station if you opt to rail to Salem or Manchester-by-the-Sea,

Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. It was so cute, the view was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly.

Only four out of five stars because I did not like that you couldn't open any of the windows. I do like a little breeze and get air flow. You could see The windows have been painted shut. We stayed in number five which was on the left side of the main building. Couldn't open the window in the bathroom either.
The property grounds are beautiful! The main building is also very beautiful. It has a wonderful front area.
Didn't get a chance to order breakfast which bummed me out too They only serve breakfast on the weekends which I didn't really read until after we checked in. So that's my fault.
It is a beautiful place to stay. I definitely recommend. I would probably stay here again.
