Sold a room that was to hold 6 people. Only given beds for 5 people. Told the manager and was told nothing they could - code says the room fits 6. Maybe code does say that - but you only provided beds for 5 and no staff wanted to help. The mattress for the sleeper sofa only big enough for one person was stained, had mildew, and looked filthy. Bathroom was dirty. Floor was dirty. Hairs and scum all over the room. Room only had a superficial cleaning. Shower bottom eas disgusting. Scum everywhere. Hotel staff would not even come look at the room. Told us it was “checked off” as clean. We were ok with paying for out awful Thursday night stay. We asked to be given our money back for the Friday night stay so we could find accommodations that would work for my family. We were told no refund. Only 15%. That was insufficient and wrong. We then had to go spend over $100 to buy an air mattress so that my son had a place to sleep. Staff is experienced and not knowledgeable. Motel policy is all they could regurgitate instead of properly assessing the situation and finding an adequate solution. We will be reaching out to corporate and expressing our displeasure and awful stay we had. We may also be contacting an attorney about the false advertising of the room having accommodations for 6 people but only really can sleep 5. Our reservation also included access to a pool……this pool was not operational and no discount given for the lack of a major amenity. We would like to be reimbursed for our stay and our out of pocket costs. Adam E 518.641.9036
