The Salisbury Lodge is located in the Barrington National Park area. It adjoins the park and is easy access to interesting forest walks. The Lodge has self contained cabins that are comfortable and quiet. It is about 40 mins to the nearest shop so take a good selection of provisions. Management were very helpful.

Peaceful, beautiful, private, clean, comfortable Walking for all levels, great swimming holes Great drives if a little bumpy. Did it all in a 2 wheel drive, some forest drives may have been difficult if there was a lot of rain Half hour to Upper Allyn with more swimming Dark & quiet at night, friendly, helpful owners Lovely artwork and views. Would probably be good in winter too Highly recommend

Location is unbeatable, quiet and peaceful. Hosts were knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Accommodation was almost perfect, rustic and very clean. You need to bring all your own food, there is nothing on site. Bring your swimmers, plenty of great swimming spots.
