The room is too small and the facilities are a bit poor. It doesn't look like a four-star hotel

The room was nice and you could see the sea. The location is on the side of a busy road which is quite noisy. There is a construction site next to the hotel and there is a lot of noise during the day.

Clean rooms with good AC as well as excellent room service. A decent breakfast layout every morning as well as towels supplied by the pool. The rooftop bar was comfortable and they serve good smoothies as well as ice cold beers. All in all a good all rounder hotel

Emmantina hotel is a close walk to the beach, the town, restaurants and small ports along the water. It’s a more basic four star hotel which is clean with a good breakfast and rooftop restaurant and pool. I would recommend it for a short stay. Note building works next door (not at the weekend).

We booked the hotel Lastminute. It was rated 4 stars. But it felt more like 3 stars. The room was ok, but the bathroom was small. There was mold in the douche, and the douche was very small, dated. The room was reasonable clean. We got two bottles free water, the minibar was empty. The tv in the room was very small and limited international channels. Last day we didn’t receive free water bottles, and the reception was quite rude, as they said only the first day it was free. While we got free bottles every day, we stayed 7 days. The breakfast was fine, essentially the same every day. Selecrion was, just ok. Nothing special. It was more 3 star quality. The a la card restaurant, had surprisingly reasonable prices. The food quality was fine, but not 4 star high quality. It was more normal basic restaurant. The roof pool was ok, small, with one end quite deep 2m, and other part indeed 1m. The hotel is quite close to bus stops. Some good restaurants, shops are 5 minutes away. A public beach is close by. But it is necessary to cross a busy road. In the room the view was to see, but it was close to busy street. So some noice was there from cars, but with close windows, it was not an issue. We had regular issues with the key cards to our room. Overall the hotel is quite reasonable. But it is more like 3 stars, then 4 stars. The rooms slaan use some updates. The service I. The room can be improved with stack minibar, free water. The a la card restaurant can be better by serving more quality food. A better selection for the breakfast would also make a difference. the hotel is around 1 hour away from the centre of Athens. the bus stops around every 15-30 minutes. You cannot buy a ticket in the bus. You can request from hotel. Else get a card from metro station machines.

Wouldn’t recommend. Rooms with ocean view are right in front of a busy main road, which is noisy all day and night. Next to the hotel there is a building site, so during breakfast you cannot sit outside in peace due to the loud banging and crashing at 9am. There were ants all over the hotel room, particularly in the bathroom. Service at breakfast was great however ironing board would randomly be taken out of the room and it would take around 30 minutes in the morning to get it back. Buffet at breakfast was quite limited and very basic.

The hotel is well-appointed with all modern amenities. It is thoughtfully laid out, with many common areas including a nice lobby and a fabulous rooftop with a nice bar, pool and music. The rooms are very nice. Our room had a balcony with a view of the ocean, and had double doors which allowed noise to be blocked out. The tiled floors throughout is a minor issue as noise tends to echo through the corridors, but this is a minor issue. The best aspect is the service. The check-in experience was excellent, with the staff member (Timur) being extra helpful. He was very professional and very cheerful, and offered many small amenities above and beyond what was needed. This extra touch made our stay very special, and made our late checkout very comfortable. Thank you very much, Tim! Fabulous hotel and fabulous service. Would highly recommend!!

Any hotel that puts chairs with chipped paint on the balcony is not four-star hotel. A hotel that has noisy building work taking place, but does not have the courtesy to inform its guests is not a four-star hotel. The hotel has recently been refurbished, and judging by the amount of noise, is still being refurbished. Future guests should be aware that one side of the hotel will soon become a building site, with upmarket apartments being built. almost half of the Emmantina's rooms overlook this area. On the other side of the hotel, there is a dilapidated house, which seems to serve as a pigeon roost. The best thing about the hotel is the buffet breakfast.

Excellent, renovated hotel near Glyfada beach. Hotel and staff service were excellent. Hotel has a modern but very warm theme, the rooms are good size, great mattress, clean quality sheets and fluffy pillows. Could use more drawers and seperate shower but definitely worth booking this hotel!

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff, particularly when we experienced problems with the health of one of our party. There is a very busy highway outside the hotel but double glazing, when closed completely, means the noise isn't bad and you can sleep in spite of some motorcyclists showing off as to how noisy they can make their engines. Rooms are clean and well maintained but could do with some shelves - not just hanging space. Breakfast is fine and the staff obliging. There is a nice rooftop pool and bar with drinks and food which is great for end-of-day relaxing. The location is good with about a 10-20-minute walk into the centre of Glyfada which is packed with shops and every style of restaurant. A public beach is across the busy main road and offers some sun shades but so no chairs and need to take something to sit on. The main plus is the staff and their attitude.

A nice hotel located very close to the sea. It is easily accessible and close to all kinds of facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and clean There is a swimming pool in the top floor with a nice bar where you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view while having a drink or a snack Definitely a good choice.

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid May. Although the hotel is on a very busy main road, even the rooms on the front are quiet as the doors are triple glazed. Bed v comfortable and the room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. Roof bar was lovely. Didn’t try the pool but it looked v nice. Several reviews have complained about the breakfast. Really cannot understand why - huge choice of hot & cold food - cereals, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc etc. Every member of staff we spoke to were warm, welcoming & v helpful. Good value for a trip to Athens as there is bus outside straight to the city centre and another to the airport - both take about 40 mins. Nearby Glyfada has loads of bars & restaurants. If we come back to Athens would definitely stay here again
Response from Property: Dear AJayRoe, I would like to thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay whilst in Athens. Thank you for your time to write about your experience with us. It is always a pleasure to read from our guests that they have enjoyed every moment and all of our services. We hope to accommodate you again in the near future.
