We felt blessed to have found and booked this pub to stay at. Not somewhere I would necessarily drink at due to lack of craft beer. Bit restricted in terms of drink selection. Great location if visiting Welsh Show Caves etc. The team were all brilliant, especially Linda, who is a joy. Our room was cleaned and ready 2 hours earlier than advertised which massively helped us out. Very good hotel room, comfortable bed at a great price, including a nice breakfast too. Room also has aircon which helped as was warm without it. Had a great nights sleep and then had cooked breakfast which was made to order. Great service and would stay again. Thanks for everything and hopefully see you all again soon.

What has happened to this place? Called in a few times lately on late Saturday afternoon . More atmosphere in a Urology Clinic! Expensive too, £6.50;for a coffee and a pint of Carling! This pub use to be buzzing but there's no one there other than young girls who have grown plump in the night looking at the scant food menu! I won't be setting foot in here again until New Landlord's are appointed, as the current one's haven't got a clue on how to bring this place back to it's former glory!

Absolutely freezing landlady on phone side door jammed open smoking cold air stinks of fags staff wearing parka jackets told stop moaning called stop tap 9/30 thought Faulty Towers was a tv program we’ll leave you to watch reruns or come over and try yourself

Awful place to visit Owner is so rude, publicy asking why I was exempt , telling me it was her business to know , and to assert her authority come in to my face and this was at the entrance, then told had to write exempt next to my name on track and trace , after all that was told stopped serving food at 4 , when we were pulling off she standing in porch entrance to the pub smoking. Would never visit again!!
