Good for airport stays

Arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night, the room is still worthy of the grade of this hotel chain, the location is close to the airport, I didn’t look at other facilities in particular, the parking lot is definitely big enough, and it’s all full, it’s strange how many guests come to stay by car .

The location is only three kilometers away from the airport. We first went to the center of Halifax to play. At night, we took bus No. 320 and got off at the bus stop opposite the hotel before the airport terminal. We took the free airport shuttle the next morning. Airport, very convenient. The room facilities are very good, very clean, we agreed that it is a very good hotel.

The booking did not include breakfast. The shower had mold all around the tiles. The door to the room was sticking open on the door frame and required quite a bit of force to get it to close. When we tried to get out in the morning I had to brace myself against the wall to get enough force to get it unstuck. The "free" wifi is throttled and does not allow streaming.

🚗 Transportation: The most silent, the shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport is free. But after the driver took us to the airport, he said a lot of things that we couldn't understand and then asked us for ten dollars (there were only three of us in the car), we gave it in a daze, and asked the customer service to check with the hotel later. The pick-up and drop-off is indeed free, and charging is the driver's personal behavior. Remind everyone that hotel-related services can be bound to the room. It is very problematic to only accept cash. Don't be fooled like me. Ctrip yyds 🧹Sanitation: The hygiene of the room is not bad, that is, during the epidemic, the garden inn in Hafa still had big bottles stuck to the wall. The garden inn I lived in Calgary, Ottawa, was not. 🍃Environment: I am really speechless. I live on the first floor. A large spotlight outside the window is shooting at the window of the room. The curtains are drawn and it is still bright. There is no hair dryer in the room. I asked my friend if there is a room. I can only get it from the front desk. The front desk repeatedly asked me if I was sure there was none in the room😅. Facilities: The lobby is better than the holiday inn next door. The lobby of the holiday inn is very, very fast hotel style. The air conditioner in the hotel is noisy and not cooling. Overall this garden inn is not good compared to other garden inns.

We stayed here as a stopover enroute to another location. Our check-in and check-out were smooth and fast with exceptional service. The room was quiet, clean and in good condition. Now the restaurant left a lot to be desired. This is not our first time here and found it to be very good and part of the reason we stayed here this time. Apparently, as the servers told us, they were beginning to change to a new menu. Our evening meal was a disaster, they had very little on their menu and while the servers were apologetic and clearly frustrated as well by having to tell customers, they don't have this or that. Well, the next morning, we tried for breakfast thinking how bad can it be. Well, they had very little, not as much as a waffle. The server, who was clearly frustrated, could only tell us they were switching to a new menu. Customers SHOULD NOT be inconvenienced by a menu changeover as it clearly showed very poor planning and hospitality. We were so disappointed and disgusted. We would have given a higher rating if the restaurant was within even the norm.

This note has been a popular choice over the years. Since COVD I haven’t stayed as often. I love the Reno’s and appreciate the digital key. I want to mention especially the Guest Services Manager - Sajanpreet Singh. I had a couple of inquiries and requests and he could not have been more helpful He went above and beyond to serve and make my stay even more enjoyable. He is an example of great leadership and warm hospitality!

Check was horrible. Waited for half hour behind a couple. Not sure what the hold up was. It was 530am and I had an infant with me after a flight from Cuba. Once it was my turn I was informed they wrote me down as a cancellation even though I emailed them when I booked to tell them I was arriving in the middle of the night.so she apparently had to start everything over. Her communication with what was happening was horrible. She just stood there looking at her computer. It is an airport hotel.. people arrive at all hours so they shouldn’t be canceling rooms anyhow. Once we finally got in the room it was clean enough but. a very small space with. Dry poor black out blinds that don’t do their job either. Bathtub wouldn’t drain. Beds were comfortable but that’s not enough for us to return.
