Positives: cheap accommodation in a calm forest Negatives: the smallest room you've ever seen. Very basic (shared bathrooms).

I went there in January 2024 with my family and in my room did not work the radiator. I immediately notified at 5 pm the receptionist girl who told me that the boss would fix the heater, but when I returned to the evening and tired it still did not work. The owner was not at all friendly and hospitable, but rather rude. I strongly advise against sleeping in this monastery if you want to enjoy a nice stay in Tilburg.

The reception area is at the bar of the hotel, nicely situated in a very quiet are near a small church. A perfect spot for a (wedding) party. The hotel seems to cater mainly for parties and for vacationers. The large outside terrace caters for hotel guests and cyclists passing by, There is an extensive garden, but there is little place to sit. Do not forget to visit the maria grotto! The room we had (wedding room) was of good size and had two easy chairs. Not all spotless however. Coffee and tea facilities available There is a double bed. One of the sides has an electrical adjustable box spring There is no closed cupboard, no safety deposit box. The bathroom has a sperate shower and a bath (jacuzzi style). The breakfast was okay. No fresh juices, one day there was no fresh fruit Coffee machine needs maintenance. You can sit outside in a lovely area. During our stay there were however many wasps that spoilt our breakfast. If you want to visit the neighboring garden (natuurtuin) please check the opening hours. Unfortunately it is not open every day
