Beautiful resort with interesting sites nearby. Great food and very nice rooms. Not cheap but worth it. You can visit nearby cenotes, Rainforests outside and inside the resort itself, go for short or longer hikes, watch birds in the evening etc.

This is a large and beautiful resort. Great for couples and families. It provides a pool and a restaurant and large grounds to explore and commune with nature. We went on a night hike for wildlife as well as a birdwatching adventure. The people are very accommodating and service oriented. My only complaint would be that there is only one restaurant and the menu is the same everyday. It is a beautiful place to stay but everything you do has a cost, so just come prepared. I would recommend this for any nature lover out there.

It was a very nice experience. I came to velize for business under the company I work for and we booked this recommended by a coworker. The views are astonishing, employees are welcoming and the various farm animals are so enjoyable. It's amazing, the weather was hot bit between the creek, river, pool and private plunge pool you have more than enough options to freshen up. The only reason why I wo t give a 5 or even 4 star is because the website is a painting navigate. They try using these fancy words like indulge and other words that dont match eith the information youre looking for. So it takes a but to get around what you need to find to inform yourself. It would be so useful if they stuck to normal writing such as dine in case of the restaurants or for live use something that matches with the content. It's quite frustrating. Other than that its nice.

Staff were all amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our creekside cottage was perfect, the bed was comfy, loved the outdoor tub, and even had our own nespresso machine!! Tours were a little pricey so in all honesty, some we booked ourself. Loved our mayan cooking class and excursions through Upsidedown Tours, which the lodge introduced us to, hats off to them especially kevin and orlin!! A beautiful stay. You won't be disappointed. They seem to have booking sales too, so check and see.

This is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed. The property is huge with lots of activities to explore — cave, horse riding, tree house, private creek with a yoga dent by the side, suspension bridge, private trails, you name it. We had an amazing time just exploring the hotel itself. The hotel itself should be on your itinerary to explore too! Also, the staff at the hotel is also very thoughtful. They tried to have diversity in terms of the food options, and they are very friendly.

This beautiful property totally exceeded my expectations! Excellent staff (Doris is amazing), delicious food and some wonderful tour/hiking options. Also has a big pool/jacuzzi. The rooms were fantastic with great AC and fresh water cooler. I'd definitely stay here again!

The Rainforest Lodge had everything we could have hoped for on a vacation. The accommodations were large, private , and surrounded by the natural beauty of the rainforest and gardens. There were so many excursions and activities available, something for all ages. The guides for the excursions were knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient. Shoutout to Marvin for the extra time he took with us on our trip to the Mayan ruins. The trails on the resort property through the jungle and orchards were well-marked, safe, and so peaceful. I can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The restaurant staff greeted us as if we were old friends. A special shoutout to the two concierges, Tristan and Doris. They helped us plan our days and went above and beyond to make this the best experience possible (side note - I left an item in the room after checking out and Doris has worked tirelessly with me to get it returned). I would 100% want to return here and encourage others to check it out!
