Le Moulin des Sources

My elderly mother and I arrived late at night due to our flight being diverted and Dominique was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough. The room was perfect with a balcony overlooking the pool, a spacious shower and all the furnishings were tasteful. You instantly felt at home and in the garden you can enjoy drinks from the the fridge at a small fee (most evenings we enjoyed Rose at €2 glass) The pool is a huge treat and this calm and quiet oasis is the perfect place to return to after a busy day exploring. All the beautiful villages are a very short distance (Menerbes, Gault, Gordes etc) Breakfast was perfect with a great selection and we thoroughly enjoyed Thierrys conversation (such a fantastic host) The only small problem was the stairs with no handrail but my elderly mum coped ok and took her time. Would absolutely recommend this place 100% - it was perfect in every way and we experienced real France. Thank you Thierry and Dominique 🙏

What a gem, le Moulin des Sources and it’s most charming hosts, Thierry and Dominique exceeded all our expectations. This chambres d’hote is in a perfect location for visiting the highlights of the Luberon, with the beautiful lavender fields of Sault, the Abbaye de Sennanque, the villages of Gordes, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Oppede, Bonnieux, to name but a few, within easy reach for day trips. The hamlet is wonderfully peaceful but surrounded by restaurants (be careful though as opening times vary considerably) within east driving distance. Le Moulin is Picture book pretty with a lovely pool and shady garden, the addition of a fridge of cold drinks honesty bar was most thoughtful and much appreciated. The house and rooms were spotless and well soundproofed, we heard nothing from neighbouring rooms. We were very grateful for the in room coffee making facilities ( please just put some tea bags as well for some guests who prefer tea, we had our own but I am sure the owners would have provided had we requested!). The breakfasts were just superb, eaten in a pretty, shaded courtyard, with every taste catered for and homemade jams, cakes etc. Thierry and Dominique were the perfect hosts and I wish them every success with their remarkable B&B!
