Traveller's Cave Hotel

We stayed for three nights, and the hot air balloon we booked for the next day took off smoothly. The day before and the day after couldn't fly due to weather reasons. We were really lucky. Goreme was still very cold in the morning and evening at this time (you could wear a ski jacket). At noon, as long as there was sunshine, it would be very hot in short sleeves and shorts. The cave was very warm, and the shower water was also very hot and large. However, there was only a large shower head on the top, and no small shower head, which was very inconvenient. The terrace was beautifully decorated, and travelers had the highest position to overlook the whole town, but the disadvantage was that every time we went down, Google Maps did not accurately guide us to the store every time we came up (two travelers were guided to this store), so we packed our dinner and brought it up with us every time we went down. Because we had an early flight on the day we left, we told the front desk the night before that we wanted to bring some breakfast, and they packed it for us at 7:30 the next day. It was really thoughtful, with fruits, drinks, and food sandwiched in bread. Thank you very much.

這家酒店的亮點是，地處Göreme高位可以俯瞰小鎮全景，而且方位特別正，因此日光和夜景都很美麗，它的露台完全可以作為小鎮的全景機位。 其他的，早餐衹能歸類為樸素；衞生狀況還行；服務不錯，前台小哥中文流利，酒店可以直接點單中餐廳（個人認為味道還行但食材一般），要預訂什麼項目也可以直接找前台（接/送機15歐）；住洞穴房的感覺衹能説是一種體驗，對於房間濕度亮度乾燥程度有高要求的，謹慎考慮洞穴房。綜上，這家酒店主打觀景，住1-2晚足矣。

The hotel is located at the highest point, and you can see the whole town of Goreme. Breakfast is buffet, and dinner can be delivered. Meihua Chinese Restaurant and his family have the same owner, so you need an experienced driver to drive and park.

The room I stayed in was not a cave room. I mistakenly thought that the entire hotel was a cave. In fact, some of the rooms were just ordinary rooms built along the mountain. If they were not caves, they would not be worth the price. Please confirm before booking.

The best hotel. There was a fireplace in the room, and it was winter, so it was fun to make a fire late at night. One serving of firewood is free. There was a bathtub and a shower room. The room wasn't that big, but the furniture and a**osphere were great and it was comfortable. It wasn't that far on foot from the center of Goreme. Please note that there are two entrances to the hotel in completely different locations. There is a parking lot at the top of the hill, and the main entrance close to the reception building is difficult to walk to from the center. There is also an entrance that is a short walk from the center. It doesn't show up on Google Maps, so I think it's a good idea to check the location of the sub-entrance at the reception in advance. (When I checked in, they explained it to me.) Basically, taxis and tour shuttles go to the entrance at the top of the hill. There are many photo spots in the hotel, and you can see the amazing view of Goreme. There is also a sofa area with a Nazar tree and a Turkish carpet, and you can take a good photo with the balloons flying at the time. The owner, Beckem, can speak Turkish, English, Chinese, and a little Japanese. We hadn't planned on doing a hot air balloon tour, but it occurred to me during our stay, so I asked if it was possible to make a reservation the night before, and they arranged it right away. There were three price levels depending on the grade, which was reassuring. (After discussing it with the owner and ourselves, we chose the middle level, which I think was 70 euros.) We were also able to use the laundry service. We handed our laundry over in the morning, and had it returned to reception that evening. There were two cute dogs, which was soothing. There were also many stray cats, and we were surprised at how friendly they were as they would come into our room. There are many stairs in the hotel depending on the room, so be careful if you have heavy luggage. When I came, a staff member carried it for me after checking in.
