Lucky Cave Hotel Cappadocia

We had a lovely stay at Lucky Cave hotel thanks to Farhan - he was very helpful to us and friendly.

My Booking No. **************** . We were promised a deluxe room which was under no circumstances a deluxe room . The electricity wasn't working and the same kept tripping off till we demanded that the room be changed. The room was changed . the room had a smaller bed to sleep on and the electricity issue kept on but with less frequency. The room lighting was sooooo low that the far end of the room where the cupboards were kept were bereft of any light. The bathroom was a different story altogether. A huge jacuzzi was there fit for a couple. However the whole of bathroom was filled with broken concrete chips off the roof which was right under a road. The Manager who was housekeeping cum porter cum manager cum electrician cum plumber cleaned it himself and told us this is the only room he can provide. A couple of hours later the concrete shower kept on dropping, forget using the jacuzzi, we didn't dare venture in 90% of the bathroom area. The electricity problem was being caused by the water leakage happening at the bathroom entrance which in turn was causing short circuit. The experience was shitty to say the least. Never felt more cheated than this hotel stay as the entire money was taken in advance promising a deluxe stay - it was more like a slum stay. I am sure the hotel deserves a star rating of 1.0 at the maximum. Not at all worth the USD250 we paid for.

The room is clean, the boss is friendly and warm, and the location is very superior.

Very bad breakfast, limited choices and bad quality. Room service was not great barely changing bins. No new towels and no new soaps. Great reception, pretty nice rooms, great location near shops and restaurants.

Good location, good service, big and clean room, reasonable price but breakfast near improvement. Only cold food.

We had a good stay. Staff was very helpful, location is convenient. The rooms start to feel a bit old, fridge was quite dirty, and there is no room service. Good stay overall.
