The hotel’s name on the outside is just “Center Hotel” so you might pass it if you are not paying attention.
While the reception and the outside are a little neglected maybe, the rooms are quite nice and clean.
The breakfast has various choices (vegan and lactose free options included) but it’s maybe a little more on the salty side rather than the sweet one.
And the current hours for breakfast are a little to early.
It would be nice to be able to switch off the main light of the room from the bed, but it was not possible in mine.

Das Hotel ist ganz ok - die Gemütlichkeit des Frühstückraumes könnte besser sein - ebenso der Innenhof, der wohl gerade noch im Winterschlaf war.

Hotel was great but doesn’t look like the pictures! Staff were amazing and the breakfasts were good, however felt a little deceived by the room pics. It’s not as up to date and modern as it looks, maybe this was just our room, I’m not sure! Very clean and comfortable so I can’t really complain. Only thing is that the walk in-shower we had didn’t have a tilted tray so the whole floor ended up wet.
I would recommend if you are going to Sweden for a few nights and won’t be in the room for very long- but good value for money and overall a good experience.

Very nice little hotel. Super staff, and good value. Just perfect for some workdays in Gøteborg. Sleeping and a little work in the room and common space.

I have been staying several times in this hotel, but this week was terrible. I was awaken at 3 AM by loud voices on the coridor. When checking, it was Rebekka, the receptionist of the hotel talking very loud. When I asked her to keep her voice down because people are sleeping, she started yelling at me that she was working there and I should go back to my room. She was still shouting very loudly. Then I asked her again very kindly to keep her voice down but then she yelled at me 'GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW'. This is absolutely unacceptable. As a receptionist she should know she needs to be quite during the night. Because I was awake, I couldn't sleep anymore and have been awake till the morning. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again. Very unprofessional.

Killen i receptionen den 24 december guld stjärna till dig. Du körde receptionen frukosten och hotellet helt själv. Men din service va fantastisk! Om ni på hotellet inte har köpt en julklapp till honom så tycker jag att ni borde han förtjäna det!
Frukosten va trevlig och möjligheten till att ta eftermiddags fika med kaffe va toppen. Men rummen behöver en rejäl uppfräschning jag förstår att de är gammal byggnad. Men silverfisk uppdagades både i frukostsofforna och på rummet och de va alldeles för mycket för att tycka att de är okej.
