快晴がつづく５月中旬に一泊滞在。均一化された部屋は眺望が最高で日の出を観ることが出来る。眼前には、地元の人たちは「ベルギー諸島」と呼ぶ黒島、黄島（おうしま）、赤島が見える。近代的かつハイセンスな建物が周辺の環境にもマッチしていて、落ち着いた佇まい。 滞在中は部屋でゆっくり過ごすコンセプトで各部屋に露天風呂があって24時間好みの温度で楽しむことができる。（温泉でないのがやや残念） 和食のコースは、サラダ、お造りとも素材の新鮮さが感じられ、メインの希少な五島牛のステーキも美味しい。 飲み物もボトルだけでなくグラスでの地元銘酒、ワイン、さらには有名な五島ジンも取り揃えており個々人の酒量に応じて楽しめる。 地元ご出身の若手スタッフの顧客応対も明るく素朴で素晴らしい。 各方面からの高い評判が実感できるホテル。

友人と２人で２泊させていただきました。 お部屋に入って、窓一面のオーシャンビューで、海がキラキラしていて、、忙しい仕事のあれこれを忘れてずっと眺めていました。 朝日がのぼる時間に、露天風呂でぼーっとしたり、部屋のスピーカーで心地よい音楽を流したりとなんとも贅沢な時間を過ごしましたが、 やはりお食事がとっっても美味しかった。五島のお魚は本当に美味しいです。 コースのお料理が出てくるたびに、感動して声をあげました。 スタッフの皆さんは、みなさん若いのに、お料理のこと、お魚の説明を丁寧にしてくださり、また合間で五島の美味しいお店や観光のことなんかも話してくださり、 本当に接客が好きでいらっしゃる、そういうプロフェッショナルな方達ばかりでした。 周辺の観光も、適度な距離にいろいろと（岬とか教会とか）あって、小一時間ドライブなんかもできますが、でもやっぱりホテルのお部屋で過ごせて幸せ、そんな滞在でした。 帰りに、車が見えなくなるまで、スタッフの方数名がお見送りしてくださり、友人とまた絶対来ようね、と言って、とても素晴らしい旅でした。

We arrived in about 15 minutes by rental car from Fukue Ferry Terminal. After arriving at the hotel, I handed my car keys to the staff and checked in. The reception was large, bright and sophisticated. When I entered the room, I was first impressed by the large glass windows and the sea view beyond. The indoor open-air bath and bed were very comfortable. Dinner was a Japanese course meal centered around Goto ingredients. The Kibinago, Hiramasa, Uchiwa shrimp, Goto beef shabu-shabu, and Goto udon with kabosu were all very delicious. The service from the staff was also good. We had breakfast while looking at Onidake on the north side of the hotel. The food, service, and view were all good, and we had a pleasant morning. It was a short stay of 1 night and 2 days, but I had a very comfortable stay.

Since I had some time off, I decided to take a trip to the island and went to this inn that just opened this year (August 2022). You will be overwhelmed by the view of the space right at the entrance. (Although it's partly because of the weather.) The operation of OKCS, which I've been trusting recently, is stress-free, including checking the history. Necessary and sufficient facilities such as rooms with open-air baths (mirrors are used wisely to make it feel larger than it really is), a bar, a meditation room and lobby space, a restaurant (a vissy high-tech SPA for those who wish) - passed away this year. Yukio Hashimoto's posthumous architecture - We spent most of our time in our rooms. The food was delicious and relaxing, and the walk along the lava coast was fun.
