You have to take a bus or taxi from Izumo Taisha Shrine, but it faces the sea, so it has a sense of openness. Anyway, the soup was delicious.

It is my pleasure to add another praise to the Ryokan. They claimed not to speak English but in fact they did, even had somebody speaking it fluently : he became our “friend” ! As we travelled by public transport they came to pick us up at the station and dropped us when we continued our trip. On our second day we took a bus to the Silver Mine and walked back, and as it started raining half way we were soaking wet upon arrival. We were welcomed with towels and our shoes and coats taken away to dry. We got them back next morning, the shoes comfy dry and still warm. Thank you so much

Beautiful Kaiseki meals. Lovely location in rural Japan. No other tourists around. Lovely area to walk around. Relaxing time spent there. Friendly owners.

The exterior looks like an old private house, but the inside of the building is fully equipped with automatic doors, elevators, washlet toilets, etc. Since I stayed in December, the building was old and there was a draft coming in, so the air conditioner was always in use. I think foreigners will be very pleased.

There are two outdoor baths nearby where you can enjoy the famous hot spring water.
It was a very good location for that purpose.
For dinner and breakfast, you can enjoy fresh fish and delicious rice prepared in your room.

Stayed in a separate room. The hot spring in the hotel is said to be a beauty hot spring, and the skin becomes smooth. The food was mainly seafood and the volume was plentiful and I was satisfied. It's safe to have enough parking. The inn told me that there would be an Iwami Kagura performance on that day, so I made a reservation and watched a performance at a nearby shrine. I was overwhelmed by the intensity of the dance, the sound, and the lighting effects. I thought that Yunotsu Onsen and Iwami Kagura should be enjoyed together.
