Popular Gottingen 4-star Hotels

I spent here only a one night during the business trip. Hotel is bit outside of the center but not too far; I for example liked walking to the Chris**as market and back to the hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were good. I was surprised about the wide and good selection at the breakfast. Room was quite basic but the bed was good. Very friendly staff, a big special thanks to Joakim at the reception.

Public payed parking in front of the hotel. Located 15 minutes walk from the town centre. Boaring conference hotel, kind but distanced staff. Standard room, no cofée/tea possibility in the room. Hard mattress, only one pillow each, worn with no form or shape. We contacted the reception to get two pillows more, same state with no support. Very small shower cabine. Cleaning standard not the best, long dark hairs on the bathroom floor. Breakfast was okay.

We stayed 3 nights and found the whole experience from the welcoming check-in to friendly check-out very enjoyable and relaxing. The room is quiet, spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The minimalist design is user-friendly with both form and function on point. The bathroom is well designed and the shower good and hot. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the Japanese/Peruvian fusion restaurant Intuu downstairs, great service and flavours. Breakfast was fresh, tasty with an excellent range of hot and cold options. There were lots of happy family groups in over the weekend and and although the buffet was busy, the staff managed the food and service seamlessly. Underground secure parking is easy to navigate and an easy in and out. I would definitely stay here again!

Actually a very nice hotel. We were driving to Scandinavia and were looking for a place for the night. We booked via the Bonvoy app and called ahead to make sure an extra roll in bed for our daughter would be placed. Initially we drove to the wrong branch of the hotel in the city, but we were quickly send to the correct branch. Something went wrong with our booking and room configuration, but this was resolved very professionally the next morning. The hotel was trendy, clean and well laid out. We stayed on the 2nd floor, the room was large, quiet and well equipped. The bathroom was well sized and well equipped. I had the breakfast the next day which was absolutely excellent for choice and quality. The hotel has a parking lot, which also has EV chargers, the only downside was they don’t only charge by KWh but also by minute, so be careful. Would definitely stay again

Gutes Hotel am Rande der Altstadt in Göttingen. Ca. 20 - 30 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Bahnhof. Großes Zimmer mit bequemen Bett. Soweit ich sehen konnte allerdings ohne Klimaanlage. Tolles und vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Netter Service am Empfang und beim Frühstück sowie vorab per Mail. Hatte den Pool Abends für mich alleine. Auch der Wellnessbereich ist top. Einrichtung könnte vom Stil her etwas moderner sein. Aber ansonsten nichts zu meckern.

Reaching a 5 - 7 min walk from the main station, the hotel is very conveninent for both city sightseeing and access to the station. The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is basic but freshly prepared. The hotel also has a classic German-style restaurant where I enjoyed the meal very much. Definitely, I will stay there next year again for the famous Handel Festival.

Just next to the Freegeist Hotel in the Weender Landstraße, the Freegeist HOME is located, which shares the reception and breakfast rooms as well as garage parking spaces with the hotel. Apartment 3004 was spacious, quiet and cozy. The equipment was modern, and varied. In the kitchenette with detachment box were covers for 4 people, a microwave, refrigerator, zeran plate and coffee/tea station as well as mineral water. Light/electricity with room card. The double bed was comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with towels, shampoo etc and fence. All was well isolated sound. All was clean and ordened. In modern environment it can be lived here in a pleasant atmosphere. Apart from the possibility of cooking in the apartments, there is a ”quarter kitchen” and, in addition to the invitating lobby room, there is also the possibility of using the washing machine, the dryer and the board/iron (washing is a detergent). The staff were friendly, careful and helpful! You can also use the fitness room etc in the hotel. Breakfast is available in the free geist hotel next to the rooms of the ”East of Italy” restaurant. The choice at the buffet is very large and varied, here everyone should find something appropriate! From a stay of four nights the apartment will be one time a week freely cleaned. The parking space in the deep garage is like a parking house - free. The price-performance ratio has been very well matched!

We only spent one night there, reception and entrance area were okay, the chair seems a little negligible. Rooms were not modern, but clean, generous and bright. The bathroom was also clean and with bathtub with shower and shower separation. The beds were rather firm, but cozy, so we have been very well sleeping. Overall it was quiet, our view went to the parking lot. Breakfast was good, it was all available and delicious. In general it was a relaxed stay, so we will certainly come back once.

Back to Göttingen, I still live here. The hotel is very close to the North Campus. The surrounding environment is very quiet. The hotel is very clean and tidy. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs. Breakfast is also very rich.
