We stayed at Guest House Sara for 3 nights. Several guest rooms have been set up in two adjacent buildings. We had a “Deluxe Twin Room”. The room was very nice, spacious, made entirely of wood, with a table with kettle and an open top floor with an extra bed. The bathroom was also nice and with a very good shower. Our room also had a balcony and air conditioning. We had a wonderful sleep here. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and very good coffee. The owners Ilija and Ivanka are very attentive and hospitable. At the back of the buildings you also have a nice swimming pool. But we did not use that at the time. Price and quality are perfect. Next to this guesthouse there is also a small, well-stocked supermarket that is not expensive at all. And you will find plenty of restaurants nearby. From Guest House Sara it takes less than 10 minutes by car for 8 km to reach the parking lot of the northern "Entrance 1" of the National Park «Plitvička Jezera». Because this park was of course the reason for us to come here. We can only recommend Guest House Sara. We wish Ilija and Ivanka much success with their great company in the coming years.

Excellent guesthouse...very kind hosts.bb...delicious and varied breakfast...clean room, equipped with all comforts: wifi, air conditioning, heating, kitchen...new bathroom...bath linen available. ...a few km from the lakes and close to all the necessary shops. Highly recommended!

Location is everything in this case. Guesthouse Sara is located on the road leading to the Plitvice Lakes. There are a few restaurants and a few tiny super markets within a few hundred meters. The apartment where we were was really in need of renovation, but it was otherwise very clean. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. And the swimming pool was also very nice after that 18 km hike.

Large, clean room. Friendly welcome by the owner. Has a swimming pool where you can cool off after a day in Plitvice. The Plitvice Lakes and waterfalls are approximately a 15-minute drive away. There are some good restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive.
