The facilities are old. We booked a room with a balcony, but it didn't have one. The quilt didn't look clean and there was almost no service.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The main part of the hotel might be ok but I was given a room in one of two houses at the back of the hotel. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with a bad smell of dampness. There was a large water stain and bad repair on the ceiling over the bed which would have caused mold in the ceiling. I requested to move to another room but they were booked out so I had to stay. By the morning, my sinuses were blocked and it was a very uncomfortable night. I was booked for two nights but just wanted to get away from there. They said they could try to move me to another room but I decided to move up the coast further and get some fresh sea air and it took a couple of days to feel back to normal. Of course they didn't give me a refund because of short notice so it was a very expensive overnight stay. Then I tried their buffet continental breakfast and it was very low standard. The hot water urn wasn't even switched on when I went for a coffee.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the requested microwave was provided, the location was convenient, parking was easy but all the positives were offset by the terrible plumbing and unreliable office hours. On the first night we couldn't get hot water. Reception said to run it for longer and eventually it did come through. The basin tap pressure was such that water bounced straight back up, going everywhere almost every time. The shower rose sprayed out everywhere instead of a nice steady stream. On the second day we were able to have luke warm showers. On the third day it was totally cold showers. Although the posted hours say reception would be there from 8am there was no help available. We noticed that they close up in the evening way before the stated time on the reception door. There appeared to be many empty rooms during our stay so we are unsure why we were put in an upstairs room forcing us to lug our gear up and down. A room more convenient to the parking would have really been appreciated.

Has got very dated and furniture is old and scratched and warped in places. Bathroom fixtures rusting and generally tired and worn out.

Booked nearly 12 months in advance of trip and specifically requested a set of rooms on the ground floor. Even called two weeks before the date to confirm the booking and room special needs - the room was up 2 flights of stairs with no lift. Tired and unclean rooms were allocated with room fixtures not working and very dirty surfaces. Unhelpful service from the weekend staff. Left 1 day early and left 4 messages with junior staff to discuss refund with the manager - still waiting on a returned call.

Booked an accessible room for 3 adults and 1 child. Arrived to find 1 queen bed and 1 single sofa bed. Not enough pillows or bedding for 4 people. Child slept on floor.
Accessible bathroom ok but rest of room way too small.for wheelchair.
$200 for the night a disgrace when no room or not enough beds for booking.

This hotel has some of the laziest and rude reception staff I have ever met. By the way after the 6 th phone call I am still waiting for the tax invoice for my stay that I kindly requested.I certainly would not recommend this motel to anyone just keep driving
