H10 Costa Mogán - Adults Recommended

The Hotel and Staff were Brilliant lovely clean Hotel. We paid all inclusive. The first couple of days we were drinking bottled beer no problem at all but then we were not allowed any bottles unless we paid for them, the head Barman said the big boss told them. So for the rest of the holiday we were told to serve ourselves at the beer pump. When you asked him to do it he wasn’t happy. We’ve been to a lot of H10 hotels and never had a problem. The other staff were going to give us bottles but he stepped in and stopped them. Saying that we have to pull our own beer. Lovely Hotel and staff. Pity about the Angry Bar manager. Probably just doesn't like. We met an Irish family and he told them the same. Maybe time for a change of hotels.

A very relaxing week with family and friends. Hotel was clean and tidy with good sized rooms. On arrival first night they stored our bags and sent us to dinner so we had time to eat which was much appreciated. Generally the food was nice although the one negative in my view was the snacks at the pool bar. The choice and availability had to be the poorest we have ever experienced. Drinks were good, liked that you could self serve, especially water all day. Cocktails seemed very sweet. On the first night at the buffet we were presented with a wine list to buy from which we were not expecting, quickly realised there was wine you can serve yourself. Pool was clean, if you sit or lie behind pool bar during the day there are 2 lots of music one from main pool and one from the paid for sun area which was €30 for 2 people per day extra. Location was nice we walked to Puerto Rico most mornings and also caught local bus to Puerto Morgan for about €3 euro return.

Genuinely can not fault this hotel. Me and my partner have just had one of the best holidays of our life here. The whole time we just kept asking “whats the catch” We arrived to the hotel quite late and the reception team took our luggage and got us to dinner before checking in to ensure we didnt go hungry. When we went to the restaurant we were blown away by the size and selection of food. When we did get up to our room they had left us some food on the desk for incase we didnt get to eat which was such a lovely touch, especcially the little chocolates. The room had a large walk in shower, walk in wardrobe and a terrace with a beautiful view of the front of the hotel. There was full tea making facilities, a fridge and a coffee machine that you could pay €12 to get daily pods for (we didnt do this as there was always coffee at the bar). We got our room cleaned daily and they always did a fantastic job. There was a card you could put on the bed to get the sheets changed rather than just make the bed, we did this half way through the week. After we had it cleaned I got a little stain on the bed and they changed the sheets again the next day without us even putting the card on the bed! Breakfast was always the same, typical full english food, freshly made omlettes, pancakes, bread, pastries, cereal, cheese, meats and fruits. Lunch varied a bit throughout the week but usually consisted on fish, meat, veg, bread, salad, cheese, meats and puddings. Dinner definitely varied the most with themed nights (our favourite was mexican night). The staff were so friendly, particularly in the restaurant and the bars, and the animation team did lots of activities during the day that were great for kids such as water polo, jenga, quizzes etc. (we did not take part but we could see it was very fun for everyone else) The main pool was a great size with two mini jacuzzi’s either side and 1 kids pool just next to it. They provide you with decent-sized, thick pool towels that you can get changed as often as you like. The bar was open from 10 every morning through to 6 when the second bar opened for the evening until midnight and always had either a singer or mini show on. Great selection of branded alcohol all included in the AI package, they even filled our stanleys for us! There was another outdoor section next to the bar that included the 3rd pool but was adults only and cost €30 for two people all day. We chose to do this only the once and it was absolutely gorgeous! The pool its very shallow and you walk through it to get to a large cold-water jacuzzi at the end. At about 11:30am they came and delivered a fruit platter to each bed which was a lovely touch. They also had an a la carte restaraunt which you could book for 1 free visit during your stay. There was set starters, sorbet and desert but you could select 3 mains to share. I could definitely see that this restaurant wouldnt be to everyones taste but there is a menu just outside so you can decide if it

Family holiday with 2 x adult couples and 1 x toddler. Pro’s: lovely decor in room, reception and buffet areas. Modern and clean. Staff generally friendly - particularly the buffet staff, they were lovely with our daughter. Breakfast (apart from the hash browns, which were extremely dry) was really lovely. Good selection of branded drinks included in A/I package. Room cleaned to a good standard every day. Cons: apart from breakfast (which was very nice) food could be better, very repetitive and not great for vegetarians. Same buffet restaurant 3 x a day (only 1 x bookable restaurant with an odd menu). No bottled water. You only get coffee in the room on day 1 and then have to pay €12! I asked for it (for the fee) but it never arrived. Very long queues for drinks, particularly during the day - you can wait over 10 minutes. Toilets around pool area (next to shop) unclean and locks don’t work. Evening entertainment was really bad - really poor quality. Kids disco also lasted for 10 minutes in a hot room with just one rep dancing around. Advice: if you like the beach, we would recommend getting the bus to the Amadores down the road, as that’s lovely (and the local beach is not nice). Advice: no bottled water and refill plastic cups are small, so suggest bringing your own bottle (particularly for during the night)

Great hotel with lovely atmosphere. Great mix of couples as well as families. Room is perfect with stunning views of the sea with the sea view room. Animation team keep the party going all day with the water sports during the day, as well as other activities. Also great mix of night entertainment from tribute acts to dance performances. Perfect amount of music from Mr 305.
