We stayed at Grand Bay Suites in December for a week. From the welcome and the check in and everything in between, it was a pleasure. The rooms were very spacious and clean and well fitted for our self catering stay. The rooms were serviced everyday and was a pleasure coming back to after a long day out. The only issue, and this was a problem, is that you cannot get Wi-Fi in the rooms. You have to be on the balcony in order to connect. With the heat and humidity in Mauritius in December, this is a real problem with all the insects. The resort definitely needs to upgrade their Wi-Fi. The staff were always very friendly and very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another holiday

Dirty place, sand and dust but to top it off, bedbugs on the headboard which bit us several times and forced us to leave the premises at 10 p.m. to find another hotel urgently. The manager didn't want to hear anything the next day despite our injections and observations. For him, no problem, everything is perfect...

We stayed at the appartement style accommodation for 15 nights and we know the location well as we lived there - here is some recommendations before you decide to book there:
Internet is only available from the lobby
For the whole stay TV was not functioning
When we mentioned to the staff about the issues the service started to be lacking. Missing towels for the bathroom - cuttlery washed negligently - bed sheets exchange not as usual. Above all difficult to sleep on Saturdays as the nightclub nearby was too noisy until 2am.

The place is located near the beach the service from the staff was excellent. Mr Ram the manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was really good it was nice and clean and I would recommend that you consider trying this place out.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. It was in a very good location near the public beach and the market. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, cooking tools and tableware. The room was clean, but there was sand left in the shower room. I was able to check out late, so I was able to enjoy the beach at my leisure on the day of my departure.
