Not as luxurious as the price tag suggests. The beach has been washed away in front of the hotel so we had to drive up to the Ritz for a sandy beach.

When arrived to reception to check in, I was told i was upgraded to a renovated room. The room was located on the 2nd floor which was quite messy and dusty due to the construction. The room was actually a downgrade from the one i booked. I found the guy at the check in deceived me and tried to put me in a lousy room by the construction area. After complaining, he moved me to a different floor AND put me in the same room type I booked for. The service at the bar was not great. I had to ask the bartenders to clean the sticky dirty counter on a number of occasions. The food service is very slow but the burger was very good. The short ribs was awful though. The pastries in the coffee area were amazing and the service there was outstanding. Room cleanliness was very good but do not expect your towels to be changed unless you place them on the floor. The toiletry provided was minimal. The bed mattress was covered by plastic or something similar and made the it unbreathable and so hot after 30 minutes of lying on it. I guess they want to protect the mattress from bed bugs or stains (???). The pool is very small for such a big hotel and unless you go early to grab a spot you are out of luck. The door people were great getting transportation.

Great location. Pool side serving staff was excellent.Neil was very attentive as well as the others. Front desk staff was also very helpfu.

This is a terrible property that is literally being swallowed by the ocean. The facilities are poor and badly need updating. To top it all off, reviews are being removed from the TripAdvisor site which is preventing travels from being full aware of the issues at this property. We have stayed at this property twice now and it gets worse every time we have retuned. We will not be staying again and I would highly recommend you stay at the Westin down the street. There is NO BEACH at this property and you should avoid this hotel. Previous reviews were removed of mine because of the hotel. This review I am writing is here to warn other travelers.

My Mother & I stayed there for 2 nights, it was a perfect cost to be there for 2 nights. I was pleased to see the type of room we stayed in those 2 nights, and the pool was amazing also the hot tub it was in the morning that my sister & I went and enjoyed ourselves after the stay I felt it had been longer. Thxs for the stay

There is no Sandy beach, no beach at all actually. The pool is small, dirty and overcrowded. The restaurant takes FOREVER and horrible service from all staff. The hotel is loud, the “activities” for families laughable. The room is a nice size but will never ever go back.

My previous review was removed so I am leaving another one. The hotel has had a renovation but it was beautiful to begin with. The service and food were great. The one major factor that was a shock when we arrived was there is no beach left at this hotel. When we travel, we like to sit on the beach all day and rarely hit the pool so this was a big surprise. The staff had told us the beach was damaged from a recent storm and would eventually return but this is def not the case.
