Not sure why this hotel reviews are so good. Hotels in Grand Junction can be ridiculously expensive and the hotel I usually stay at was sold out. The Clarion had good reviews and the price was right. Checkin was quick, the young lady who helped me was friendly and professional. My travel mate is in a wheelchair so we reserved an accessible room with two double beds. The room we were given, 1082 is way too small for a wheelchair to turn around. There is a comfortable side chair in the far corner but the pathway is way too narrow for a disabled person to use, so they are basically limited to the area by the first bed. The bathroom is extremely small. The wheelchair only fit if it were pushed into the shower area. The room seemed clean, but the bath could use a good scrub down. Even with the lower price I would probably not consider staying here again.
