Candlewood Suites - Grand Prairie - Arlington, an IHG Hotel

The hotel has thin walls. My neighbors (which had a doorbell outside their door) screamed every few minutes for several days.

Everything was clean

#1: MICE EVERYWHERE! not kidding.. as we walk in the room we saw a mouse running across the room. unformed the frontdesk and as a remedy we were offered some mouse trap glue tapes.. next afternoon upon returning to our room we saw another mouse running behind the fridge. wondering were did it go I pushed the fridge away from the wall and discovered TWO DEAD MICE stuck on a white glue trap tape left behind the fridge... turns out we spend day and night in a room together with dead mice.. disgusting! (frontdesk lady came over and took the tape with mice, and she wasn't surprised at all trying to explain that because we are in the middle of some fields the mice are normal around here.. ) I would have posted picture but afraid they will not approve my review. #2: we booked the 'Queen Studio Suite with Two Queen Beds' but the photos are misleading! there's no bar-type counter top with two chairs. in fact, our room had no chairs at all! the frontdesk confirmed that there's another room with the counter and chairs, BUT it has only one bed.. Button Lice: avoid this place unless you don’t mind spending nights with mine running around and, (possibly) some dead ones in hidden places.

Very upscale hotel, full kitchen with residential refrigerator/freezer. Only drawback is traffic noise from interstate. Staff friendly and helpful. Room has very good hvac system and nice TV. Only drawback curtains did not seal out all light.

Nice clean hotel with kitchenette if needed.

Cons: The hotel itself, in my opinion, is outdated! The carpet is old and dingy looking, the light at the front of our room, the microwave and the remote worked when it wanted to and the paint is peeling. Pros: The location is great, the beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. Because we were here on New Year's Eve weekend the price was outrageous! I mean I get the increase for the holiday, not double the price for this hotel was ridiculous. But, we enjoyed the Dallas Cowboy game and we slept well. Will I stay here again, absolutely not, but try it for yourselves. You may enjoy it..

It was wonderful drove 20 hours to stay it was perfect

I 3njoyed the room and the indoor pool .

The stay is always comfortable, George and Adriana always make me feel at home and take care of me very well
