We started our stay at a different hotel, but left that one 20 minutes after checking in due to the filth and mold we found in our room, amongst other issues. We fortunately got the last room here, but at the price of $170 for the night, it was hardly a bargain. In comparison to the first hotel, it was a palace. That said, it’s nothing to write home about. It was a standard hotel that could certainly use some upgrades. Like the first, it had some cleanliness issues. Also, the bathroom was set up with the toilet inside with the bath/shower and that room was TINY. Impossible to change clothes. However, front desk staff was professional, friendly, and the breakfast area was clean and everything there was good. The man who checked us out in the morning seemed to be a manager and was extremely pleasant and asked how the stay was. They also have small items for purchase if you forget things (Tylenol, ice packs, snacks, etc.) which is handy! Another issue we ran into was that the pool doesn’t open for kids until 9 am, so we couldn’t take our kids swimming in the morning like we would have preferred (they’re early birds!) that said, the pool area was clean and decent sized. Had the rooms been a little less expensive, I’d be a lot happier with the stay overall. But all in all, I’d stay again if we found a good deal. It was a decent stay.
