Bohio Dive Resort

Ate here on recommendation, what a disappoin**ent we waited one hour ten minutes for our first course which arrived cold our second course took a further 40 minutes to arrive and was served in stages with my wife waiting a further ten minutes both meals were stone cold we were offered replacement meals but we didn’t. want to waist any more time . The excuse for all this delay was the arrival of a local party who were served before us despite arriving thirty minutes after us.

We such had a wonderful week with amazing service and diving that we’ve booked again for this December 2022. The website now says the resort is closed for refurbishment. Tom and Ginny, would you please let us know if our deposit and reservation are good for our return trip this December? Sarah and Jason

I am following up on Brian L's review of July 2022. At least he received a letter from a lawyer after inquiring about the remaining balance in July. After all they had already closed their doors on July 1. I have yet not received anything from a lawyer or management ( Ginny and Tom). Also unlike Brian, I also don't have a PDF form to make a claim to the money I have lost. To make it worse they are back in business next year and haven't taken care of their old business to people like me before hand. After all we were to be there in 4 days, 8/7. They have a small resort with a small number of rooms and had to know this was coming, but couldn't have reached out to a few dozen people? How hard could that be? I will guarantee I could not trust them in the future. If they couldn't take care of old business before moving to newer money? I bet you I won't see any of the money collected from the recent liquidation sale a couple of weekends ago. My wife and I visited 10 years ago and can't claim to be friends like Brian L claims. But if they are/were friends and didn't give me some kinds of heads up or some kind of personal e-mail /text, I would be personally hurt. So because of my personal customer service experience, with no refund or apology in sight, buyer beware.

I have stayed at this resort many many times since 2010. I was so looking forward to coming again and spreading my wife's ashes. very hurt to find out 3 weeks before we leave that they went bankrupt. Tom and Ginny were always such wonderful people and we lost a lot of money I truly hope there is more to the story. We have managed to switch things to the Osprey for the same time period so we will see what that is like. Hopefully it can rid my mouth of the very sour taste

Stayed at Bohio as part of a dive trip. The property is beautiful. The staff is very accommodating. Always friendly and always willing to satisfy whatever whim their customers have. Special shout out to GiGi who was in charge at the front desk. Bartenders were awesome as was our Karaoke host. Even the donkeys, dogs, and cats were super friendly. The dive trips were very fun and the dive crew were knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend Bohio!

This restaurant was recommended as one of the best if not the best in the town , if this is the best I can’t imagine what the worst is like . In truth it is just the most attractive and most expensive ,that said the device was appalling we had to wait twenty minutes before a server approached with a menu and then a further fifteen minutes before she took our order and the best part over an hour to receive our first course which arrived stone cold we didn’t return it we just cancelled our main paid our check and left . This was a disaster from start to finish . Avoid

The diving is among the best we have encountered. The reef and wall is teeming with life, right off of the beach and the dive staff makes for an enjoyable experience. Accommodations are attractive and comfortable; the meals are well prepared and the staff is friendly. Boho is a welcoming and well run resort with an emphasis on relaxation. We could not have asked for more.

Extremely friendly staff that accommodated all of our needs! Wonderful food, especially the lion fish ceviche and sushi that was prepared with the lionfish we caught. Dive crew is very friendly and helpful, while also providing wonderful dive tours. The resort is comfortable and clean. Overall, such a wonderful place!! Would definitely recommend!

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this resort to any and all. The staff ALWAYS went the extra mile (including finding a friend to source cigars, figuring out which tables we loved the most and setting them up together, creating ceviche and sashimi out of our lion fish catch, and continually attentive to how can I help. AWESOME service. The diving is superior too. Wall dives with a short boat trip and surface intervals on shore. Just take your shoes off when you arrive and put them back on when you depart.
