Decent hotel but leaves a lot to be desired, room was ok but floors were slippery and sticky, room smelled funny, very little furniture, breakfast was ok , pool was awesome but hot tub was broken and terrible, no furniture around pool, morning employee was awesome but the rest seemed clueless and rude, the place needs tons of work!

My husband and I had driven 1337 miles (20 hrs from Virginia to Alvarado, TX) to purchase an RV. We booked a hotel room at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham located at 1165 US-67, Alvarado, TX. Upon entering the premises, I was greeted by a young lady (the desk clerk) by the name of Melissa. Ms. Melissa is truly a lady with a "WINNING" personality. She made sure that my husband and I, along with our pets were as comfortable as possible. She went above and beyond exhibiting "Southern hospitality." This young lady is what customer service is all about; she should be promoted and given a nice raise. Melissa, an RV owner herself was also able to give my husband and me a voluminous amount of tips, as we are new to the RVing world. Additionally, our room was clean, nice, and spacious, and breakfast which was offered had a wide variety of food. If we're ever in Alvarado, TX again and Ms. Melissa is still there, I will be staying here again. Thank you, La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Ms. Melissa.

Great stay! Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. The needs were comfortable, the rooms were very clean, and breakfast had a variety of hot options (sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, etc.). We started with a standard two bed room and upgraded the second night to a suite. It was very spacious, much more than others we have stayed at previously. We will definitely book here the next time we are in the area. I am very picky when it comes to hotels, but I’d recommend this one :)

Beds where like plywood elevator was scary to get on it struggled to do anything the breakfast was ok at best

I have stayed here several times in January and February. The staff is very friendly. They have recognized me when I checked in. The room has been clean every time I have stayed there.

I had read there was a maximum of $75 per stay. I had two pets and stayed two nights and was charged $100. The Hampton Inn charged a one time pet fee.
