It felt like returning to my parents' home in a cozy a**osphere. The room and washroom were clean, and the room in particular was cute and nice. Although it's not very spacious, we had a comfortable and pleasant time. Dining was also nice. I only stayed for one night, so I wanted to stay longer.

Stayed 3 nights at Somerset House with the dog. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival, and all our needs were met during our stay, including breakfast in our room.
The B&B was lovely and homely and a great location for visiting the local area, and neighbouring towns.
The promenade and the park were within walking distance, and were great spaces for exercising the dog.
We have had a fantastic weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice, clean, friendly, welcoming B&B , accommodating dietary requirements, perfect place to stay just outside of the lake district if you don't want to spend the horrific Windermere prices but want to stay in a quality accommodation.
