Motel Del Rogue

I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this! My partner and I had the most amazing road trip stop here on our way from L.A. to Portland in late summer/early fall last year. It was so wonderful that we stopped here again on our way back home even though it meant a much longer second leg of our drive, haha. The property is stunning, and both rooms we stayed in were spotlessly clean! Beautiful, rustic decor, dog-friendly, and also spotlessly clean is basically my version of heaven. All of this, plus we got to meet/interact with each member of the family who owns the motel and they were all incredibly kind and helpful. We felt so safe at the Motel del Rogue, which is really important to us. This year we hope to make this a longer stay as opposed to a stop so we can relax and enjoy and have our Oergon friends come meet us. Can't wait!

Amazing family operated Inn right on the river. Beautiful spaces and comfortable beds. We brought our two dogs and they loved the balconies and the walks along the river bank. Watching the sun set and rise from the balcony was a great moment of peace in our journey. My fiancé and I were moving our lives from Texas to Washington and just happened to choose Grant’s Pass as a resting place. We couldn’t be happier with our choice as this Motel felt like a brief home during our trek. Quaint features and antiqued items adorn the entire estate. Feel free to disconnect and take a deep breath as nature and old-world aesthetics encompass you. Yet, modern technology isn’t too far with Wi-if and a TV available in the room. Nothing but amazing things to say about the place and the wonderful folks running it.

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip and visiting Grants Pass (and Oregon) for the first time ever, and we happened to stumble upon Motel del Rogue. Initially, we were attracted to this place because they allow pets and our pet cat could stay with us, but when we arrived, it surpassed our expectations in every way. We were lucky enough to get a room on the second floor - which was incredibly spacious and included two bedrooms, a kitchen area and a large outdoor balcony that we could access directly from either bedroom. The balcony had a gorgeous view overlooking the Rogue River and we were immediately in love with the surroundings which included beautiful trees, the flowing river, and the mountains in the distance. In addition to the beautiful ambience of the motel, the only thing better was being able to meet the owners of the motel - Kevin and his family, who are the most genuine and kind folks you could meet on a road trip. They were so lovely to talk to (and by the way have the greatest pet cats - forgot the names! But so cute!), and not only that, they were the most accommodating and gracious hosts. We kept changing our checkout date each day and extended our stay about five different times, and they were so very kind and flexible about it. Further, our car had gotten a flat tire and we had to call a tow truck to help us out, and Kevin and family were so kind as to give us a discount on our room just to help ease the situation. Just overall really great people and wonderful service! We would undoubtedly stay here again when we pass through, and truly looking forward to it! Thank you again, Kevin and family!

I writing about my most amazing stay at Motel del Rogue. I was displaced for two months from my home because of a fire. The owners Kevin/Constance & Sylvia created a home for me, my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter during a difficult time. They also have the most amazing housekeepers Rhonda, Remy (from the Philippines) and Ray who also tend to you and spoil you. No one is a stranger to this establishment. They welcome everyone from everywhere. Pets are also welcome. The motel is set directly on the beautiful Rogue River with beautiful trees, birds, and everything involved with nature. I would like to come back again just as a visitor for a weekend get away. I understand they have a family group that comes once a year for 15 years now to have their family reunion. That should say something of what a friendly, homey place it is. Next time you’re in Grants Pass think about stopping by for a well welcome stay.

For the 6th year my 2 friends and I have met at this magical 1930’s Motor Court to make art and plans for the new year ahead. There is nothing to distract or disturb you in this untouched piece of nature. The hosts, Kevin, Constance and Sylvia are devoted to keeping the past be the present. They do a great job of it! And don’t get me started about the fantastic sleep you will get from the stillness, the darkness, and the best beds & wonderful linens, including the ironed pillow cases We look forward to many more years. Motel Del Rogue is a wonderful place to stay. Whenever we need to travel to the area we are thrilled that it gives us a chance to visit our most favorite motel ever! Kevin and family are wonderful hosts. The rooms are charming and comfortable. And what makes it even better is that they are welcoming to our dogs. We can’t wait to visit again!!!

Our favorite hideaway is a charming classic on the banks of the Rogue River. The Motel Del Rogue is homey comfort in every way. Owners Kevin, Constance and Sylvia are super pleasant and helpful. The whole experience is a throwback to a more personal and tranquil world. Did I mention that every room has a porch right on the famous Rogue River? An absolute bargain at today's crazy hotel prices! We stay there every time we go to southern Oregon to visit family.
