Beautiful space, great location, friendly halpful staff, excellent food and bar, no closets in the rooms and a lack of sound insulation were the only negatives. All in all still a great experience for a 6-day stay

We were in town for the nearby Celtic Festival and stayed here because we enjoy historic hotels. The stay was so outstanding in every way that only two things stand out as wanting attention: (1) breakfast was pretty disappointing, which is surprising since the lunch, dinner, and cocktails we had in the restaurant were absolutely the best we've had in some time (and we're from SF, which is not exactly a food desert); (2) I had originally booked on *********** for convenience, BUT there are different types of rooms with quite different characteristics that are not distinguished on ***********, so I ended up canceling and rebooking directly with the hotel. (To their credit, it was they who called me to confirm my reservation and give me this info. I still need to get my cancellation fee refunded from ***********, though.)

Very nice historic hotel with up to date amenities. Staff at hotel, restaurant and bar are all very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend.

The Holdbrooke Hotel was a stunning and comfortable place to stay for a wedding weekend with our friends. The staff was attentive, the food and drinks were delightful, and you cannot beat that amazing underground bar.

We stayed at the Holbrooke for 4 nights as we were in town for my son’s wedding. We had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable and centrally located. Great spot for a group to stay. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The beds were amazingly comfy. The shower looked a bit intimidating as it was an old fashioned tub but worked and felt great! Loved the restaurant and bar as a meeting spot with others in our party. Felt like our own rambling old house that we could enjoy and entertain on. Thank you!!

Hotel has very limited parking and does not reserve the spaces for paying guests. They allow public parking for brunch, restaurant , and bar goers, the same as overnight guests. For $300 a night you should be able to park on the property and not be stuck finding 3 hour limited parking down the street. They blame it on the town, but they are responsible for making sure their guests can park somewhere overnight and enjoy the stay in their $300 a night room with no TV.

We did a photo shoot in your location in the King suite and it was amazing!!! The staff especially Amanda were out of this world helpful. Of course after I spent the night in this beautiful room and enjoyed the bath, bottle of wine and the quietness of this luxury, beautiful room. The little touches like water next to the bed and crisp clean sheets made all the difference. Very clean and very unique experience in this historical hotel. Will come back again with my hubby. The restaurant was amazing! The staff very kind and helpful. Loved the bartender... makes a mean Manhattan!!

Such a cute boutique hotel. The staff members were amazing and helpful, accommodations were comfortable and very nice. The location is great and right in the middle of the downtown area.
