Environment: On the edge of the old town of Graz, about 10 minutes walk to the town hall, perfect
Facilities: A standard European express hotel, with everything you need, but not much luxury. There is a parking lot on the 3rd floor underground, about 16 euros a day.
Sanitation: Good
Service: The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and explained everything in detail

Graz, as the second largest city in Austria, does not have a five-star hotel. I conservatively chose Mercure, a chain owned by Accor.
The front desk was friendly and spoke fluent English. Billa is next door, which is very convenient and close to the old town. The sofa bed in the family suite can be made for children to sleep on.
Basically, it is at the level of domestic business hotels, and the breakfast is relatively simple.

Friendly service. The hotel is well-located and it is easy to walk around.
After checkout i told the front desk that i had left my adaptor in the room, that time my room already had new guest check in. And the staff is nice enough to knock on the door of room and i manage to get back my adaptor.

Hotel did not inform us that there was a marathon going on the day of check in, had to loiter around outside the area until the marathon was over late at night and got stuck in a heavy rain. When I gave a feedback at check in they only knew of the marathon on the day itself...

We requested a shower chair (as am a handicap) but it did not arrived.
The toilet drainhole did not flow well and flooded the toilet (room 215).
The toilet did not come with towel rack/holder!
Otherwise the room was spacious enough, had kettle, coffee, tea, minibar, etc.
