Seeplaas

We stayed at Seeplaas as a stop on our roadtrip. My mum stayed in one of the rooms and had an amazing seaview from her stoep, with comfortable chairs and everything she needed to relax and recharge. My sister and I stayed in the Bubble - wow! What an experience! From the delicious platter we arrived to, free bottle of wine, to the bathroom and other facilities - everything was so well thought through. We spend hours in the hot tub, overlooking the sea and coastline, and even experienced rain when in the Bubble - just amazing! A delicious breakfast was included and we could choose from the menu - which is even more of a treat, as we had seating outside, in the shade, still overlooking the whole coastline. An experience I will highly recommend.

Awesome guest house with magnificent views. Walkway to the beach. Rooms have stunning views. Service is excellent. Whale watching from the deck was the best experience ever. Close proximity to swimming beaches and restaurants. Numerous local attractions.

Privacy of the rooms an issue as other guests needs to pass in front of your unit to their units. Felt unwelcome on arrival and cleaning lady started cleaning before 10:00 when we were still packing to vacate the unit.

When I saw the bubble tent while researching accommodation in Groot Brak I knew we had to try out this unique experience and so glad we did. Booking was easy & leading up to our stay I received a few Whatapps & also an online check in process which made it really quick when we arrived. We had to give an approximate arrival time & we had a latter , chocolate & some juices waiting for us in the tent . The tent is totally private & no one can access it from the Guesthouse side or the sea side . The bathroom is big with a shower & bath in a separate concrete structure . 1st tent was a coffee station , fridge & some storage space. Main bubble is the main attraction , its big & even has an aircon. What views , lying on the bed you can watch the sea or the sky. There are curtains should you wish to use them but in my opinion it spoils the experience as its totally private. There is a jacuzzi , wooden bench & table as well as a hammock. An interesting point to note is that you can only open 1 bubble at a time to ensure they stayed inflated as they feed with air all the time. The views are amazing & the beach is accessed going through the main area of the Guesthouse via about 50-60 stairs. One can take really long walks on the beach & there is a small shallow tidal pool as well . The premises is really neat & well maintained with an art gallery/curio shop . Breakfast is included & was really good . We really enjoyed our unique stay in the Bubble Tent

we had a wonderful stay, with our room being one of the more private overlooking the ocean, and for them going out of their way to prepare a special picnic lunch packet for us to take with on one of our activities we had booked.

Seeplaas is one of the best resorts I ever stayed at , friendly staff ,clean , excellent food , will stay there again and again ..............Love Seeplaas Rhoma Lombaard - 10/10
