We used to stay here all the time because this hotel was the best one and had a Tesla destination charger we could plug into overnight. We did not need to stay overnight, now that there is a Tesla Supercharger in town, but we decided to stay the night to relax before the last leg home. However, "relax" is not what we got. The Train blew its whistle at 11:30pm waking us both up to a jolt! Then approx every hour all night we could hear the train chugging by. The heater (A/C) unit is located right next to the bed and louvers are not adjustable, it blew right on us every time it ran, also waking us up. The room was very dry, with my hair sticking up most of the time in the room (even after running the steamy shower for awhile). also making the pillows feel scratchy and our mouth/eyes/skin feeling extremely dry by morning. No bottled water in the room or offered at check-in for my Marriott Tier Level. Price for the room was the highest we paid on our whole trip (6 nights in Marriott Fairfield Inns + Courtyard by Marriott) in different cities. Not a good value for basically the same/similar room & amenities. The room itself was very clean, but this location also had a crack in the shower-pan that was patched. Weird that two of the Marriott locations would have this similar patch - though I know it is very difficult to replace a shower pan. Some of the TV channels were told to us at check-in to be not working 'for over a month now' (again, why is the price so expensive then?! More than $125 more per night than almost all the other Marriott hotels we stayed in!) We could hear the upstairs occupant water running/toilet flushing (no foot, TV, talking noise though). Hot breakfast was typical, but the orange juice tasted a bit stale/off. We used to really enjoy this hotel when it was new, but this visit and the price for the visit just turned us right off. If we want or need to stay in Great Falls again, we will stay at the Fairfield Inn by the airport for a $100 savings.
