Stansted Airport Guest Rooms

Very cold room, dirty carpet, dirty sheets, no water at the face basin, persons smoking and making noises, banging on the door nearby. It was a nightmare. No sign to assist you, directions on google maps was difficult to find...the operators have no manners.... just terrible. We left before the agreed time.

Very clean and cosy room. Spacious with high quality fittings on the shared bathroom. Definitely recommended for cheap overnight stay ready for Stansted departures!

The location is a bit far from main road but the property is well situated. A clean building but the hot water didn't work in the bathroom (perhaps there needs to be some manual assistance in getting it operated that's if it works). My TV didn't work as there's a faulty connection. There should be some level of noise control in the building as you hear everyone speaking from within next doors.

No heating, filthy carpet and location was wrong on google maps. A Tv that didn’t work and a single bed , so small and uncomfortable, you wouldn’t even wish your mother in law slept in it.

Not suitable for young families especially. The building smelt of cigarette smoke, as the cleaners were smoking in the property. The room was not made for us and one duvet had blood staines on it. The room was right next to the laundry room that had spinning machines keeping us awake until midnight. Very loud as shared property. People coming down to kitchen at all hours. The people on the phone were helpful and apologetic and got us clean sheets and new duvet cover but it was a very unsettling experience with very little sleep.

This place was not even findable. We rocked up to a place that appeared to be the place we booked and they asked us for £70 to stay. The place was filthy. We were told we couldn’t use the kitchen the tv didn’t work

Arrived to discover this is an HMO. Booked room with a bathroom but the window was not opaque or frosted with NO blind. The house mates all had a party that night with loud music, late night drinking and smoking and our bathroom look over the back garden. Couldn’t have a shower due to the lack of privacy and had to take it in turns to hold a towel over part of the window to hide our modesty while using the toilet. The carpet was stained, the wall had holes in it and the room stank of mould. Really couldn’t make it up. We had no sleep as it was so loud and we didn’t feel safe.

We were supposed to get a email with a code to access a key so we could let us selves in to this “guesthouse “ We never got that email! We tried to call an “emergency phone number “ but no one answered. We did contact ********** they were unable to do anything. There was another couple who arrived shortly after us and they did not get any email either. This mess costed us a lot! A taxi to the “guesthouse “ and then another taxi to get to another hotel!!! Please be aware!!! This is a scam! I have not gotten any refund yet or compensation for the cost of the taxis yet. Simply unacceptable!
