I had excellent service from reception and bar/restaurant. Decor is attractive and lounge and rooms comfortable. Chef is excellent, dishes imaginative and tasty. Good breakfast.
Only negative is steep stairs to bedroom.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much especially for my Princess teenage daughter. Rachel was brilliant member of the team. Such a shame that management don’t support the staff my extracting and banning a certain Scottish regular who was quite vulgar from the time he arrived in the hotel til he went to bed or work. Regardless of how much business this man brings the staff and guests shouldn’t have to tolerate him. Other then this bafoon a perfect stay, ideal location and all staff (not guests) conform to covid regulations.

I stayed here on Friday 3/2/24 and would highly recommend this hotel. I came down for a funeral and travelled overnight. I arrived at the hotel just before lunchtime, and they let me check in early so I could freshen up before the funeral. I had a great sleep in a very comfy bed, and the breakfast on Saturday morning was great. It set me up for the 9 hr drive home. Also, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Can't praise them enough.
