Do not use this hotel. I booked a weekend stay and showed up at 1130 PM on Friday only to find out that they overbooked and gave our room away. The woman at the front desk said that we should have gotten an email or a phone call stating so but neither was ever done. I was told that the manager would be back in the morning and there was nothing that could be done until then. No offer of assistance was made at all. Instead of arguing I proceeded to try to find a room for the night. Apparently, there was something going on in Greensboro that weekend because no other hotels were available. After driving to several hotels and then calling over 10 hotels I decided that my daughter and I were going to sleep in the car since it was now after 1AM and she needed to be at her dance function at 730 AM. After dropping her off, I was able to get a hold of the manager who said that they ended up bumping two people and that he had to do that by making sure that members were taken care of. Excuse me, but we booked with points which means that we are members. The subject was quickly changed when I pointed this out, and he told me that the points would be refunded and that I would be able to book a room for Saturday if I liked. After the way that I was treated I had to chuckle. I love Hyatt but will never attempt to stay at this hotel again. They figured that a cash paying customer is better for them than a loyal Hyatt member using points. To top it off, I still have not gotten the points refunded.
