First off, I booked this room because it had decent reviews and it was within my budget. I booked for a weekend, so 2 nights. When I got to the hotel, the man at the front desk wasn't friendly at all. I checked in and went to my room. The hallway had a weird smell but I proceeded to my room. When I got to the room, it was very outdated, there was paint peeling on the walls, the desk chair was torn and I was in an adjoining room. I'm a single mom with 2 kids so I didn't feel comfortable with the adjoining room. I cleaned up but the room still didn't feel clean to me. I left for the event I came in town for and called ******* to let them know I didn't want to stay in the room and after a long call, I was only given $25 credit out of the $218 I paid and was told I would get my refund in 72 hours. Well, I was just told today that my refund request was denied! I've never had a bad experience with ******* until now. I wouldn't refer this hotel to anyone
