Tru by Hilton Greenville

The room was amazing it was so clean and well put together! I love everything! I would totally recommend staying here!

The check in was fine. The room looked clean and had two queen beds. However the beds were too hard and the pillows were too soft.y sister complained about the low water pressure. After 10pm there was a lot of noise and walking around above our room. This lasted over 15 minutes. I didn't call the front desk, but would have if it continued after the movie I was watching ended.

The front desk staff was really nice and provided great service. The hotel rooms themselves are just horribly designed, small, and did not work for three people in a room. I've never stayed in a Tru before so the design was a shock. They need to focus more on proper cleaning. The beds are NOT queens and there is no closet. You're expected to hang clothes in the open above the mini-fridge and store luggage under the bed or on a stand that is taking up valuable living space. This means, each time you want something that isn't hung, you're crawling under the bed and/or moving luggage in/out of the "storage" areas. The room was poorly cleaned. There were food crumbs under the bed the day we checked in. Walking across the floor resulted in dirt on our socks or feet. There was no housekeeping during our multi-day stay so we called for towels everyday and had to sit the garbage outside in the hall. Greenville has brown water so daily cleaning is a must to avoid brown stains in the shower and sink. You would think they would want to be proactive to reduce long-term issues. Bring shower shoes... Breakfast was basic...same pancakes, protein, eggs, and assortment of bread/muffins (that didn't look fresh). Due to the small room size, we ate our takeout in the lobby. My teens loved the pool table but didn't get many opportunities to use it due to the grown men always drinking and hanging out there. There was an issue with double billing me and charging a made-up rate but the manager quickly corrected it. Greenville doesn't have many options so I guess that's how they get away with charging $200/night.

Hotel desk were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good. The only complaint I had was the towel’s weren’t clean enough. The towels had stains on them and were dingy. I had to go buy my own towels. Overall the best hotel in Greenville, MS.

I like the desk clerk kindness. No light in the bathroom. Hallway floor are dirty.

Could not find any good hotels in this area. Hotel is way overpriced—equivalent to super 8 or Days inn. This place is not like the photos-it needs a good cleaning and some upkeep. The water is brown!!! Did not want to shower in it. Even the filtered water in the lobby tasted terrible. Bring your own water if you stay here. Terrible breakfast. Staff was friendly and check in was easy.

Hotel stay overall was good, but they did not have a blind on the window and the parking lights lights shine in the room all night. Room 313

Good location , great check in and staff. Walls a thin(shouldn't hear others toilet or convo), room was little on small compared to others, and I had two medium size insects in bathroom. I recommend increase the door closing pressure to allow the room doors to close more silently and aggressive. Being it closes so aggressive It also was creating pressure/vacumm on other room doors

Do not patronize this establishment. They purposely overbook not giving you any options. After they overbook you and decline your reservation they charge you for the night's stay. You have to go to through the Hilton's corporate offices to have your money returned. This experience has left me with the determination never to travel out of town again and depend on hotels. No one wants to drive eight hours such to turn around and drive eight hours home again. You would do better sleeping in your car.
