The Belmont 1857 was a most exquisite Bed and Breakfast to be 167 years old. With 15-foot ceilings, the historical home and antiques had an old world feeling, almost like living in the 1800's, but with modern conveniences. The host, Bradley, gives each guest personal attention, as well as a brief history and tour. Several beautiful sitting areas are available to gather. The dining table was set for royalty and ready for a delectable breakfast. The Delta, having its own unique history and people, would be an interesting place to spend more time and stay at the Belmont 1857, of course.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in a beautifully restored plantation home. You actually live in it. Great home. Great host. Breakfast is great. Checkin and out is seamless. Extremely clean. One of a kind. Luxurious. Historical. Relaxing.

The plantation if beautiful. We stayed in the Belle Island Suite. Beautifully decorated with antiques and items that will take you down memory lane :) The room has access to the large screened in porch where you can sit on the porch swing and take in the beauty. Very peaceful with comfortable bed. Breakfast is served at the beautiful dining room table. Bradley was very easy to work with and made us feel welcome. We plan to take another trip and stay longer!

What a fantastic plantation home! Beautiful down to the last detail! Huge, comfortable rooms with everything you need and more! Brad, the owner, is so engaging and knowledgeable...not to mention a great chef! The breakfasts were truly a culinary delight! We look forward to passing through again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the 1857 Belmont inn. It was a delightful historic old home with a very comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Brad was a very gracious and helpful host.
All the furnishings were so lovely and wonderful to enjoy using. We had the Captain’s room. We loved it!!

Beautiful home with lots of history. Could not get better service. Traveled solo on business and felt super safe. Property has a locked gated entry. The beds were comfortable. The owner goes above and beyond to meet your needs. This is a must stay in this area!

This was the greatest accommodation we had during our trip, incredible interior, on arrival we got a guided tour through the house by the owner. In the morning a gigantic breakfast with all guests of the house in the farm house's dining room and subsequent presentation about the history of the house. Also great recommendations about where to go for dinner.

All the amenities of a modern hotel but in a stunning mansion, beautifully furnished and maintained. Bradley was a gracious host, available and happy to help in any way possible. As breakfast was served in the morning, he shared the extensive history of the house. Hands down the best place to stay if you are anywhere near Greenville.

This is the third time we have stayed at Belmont 1857, and we still enjoy going back. The property is a historical building with beautiful grounds which Bradly is continually polishing up the ongoing restoration. Bradley knows much history about Belmont which he is eager to share while serving a wonderful breakfast.
