Beautiful place! Excellent, friendly staff! Beautiful views and art, wonderful dining

We enjoyed one night at this gorgeous hotel! This was a quick holiday getaway for myself and my teen daughters. The hotel facilities are top notch with beautiful decor and amazing views and location. We enjoyed the pianist in the lobby, drink up check in, easy valet service and storage of luggage while we walked around downtown before leaving. The staff were overall extremely friendly with only a few exceptions that were just mediocre. The room had lots of seating which was nice as well as soft blankets on the bottom of the beds, although the blankets looked as if they needed a wash with some spots of things so unfortunately could not use. We enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace and being able to walk to the beautiful scenery of the river, great shopping, and food options such as Gather GVL food hall and ice cream at Marble Slab. And I was thrilled the cute little holiday market right outside the hotel was open for us to shop around and grab some great smelling holiday candles. Breakfast at Between the Trees was amazing - highly recommend the omelets and blueberry pancakes!

Do not let this hotel put you in Room 141 as a Falls View! We booked a premium Falls View room at the Grand Bohemian Greenville three months in advance, expecting a special stay for my 60th birthday. Instead, the room we were initially assigned had no meaningful view of the Falls and looked directly onto electrical transformers. (We arrived at 4:30 PM and waited in line for 20 minutes, so it was not a matter of arriving late and getting what was left over.) Given the premium rate, the advance booking, and my husband’s long loyalty to Marriott properties over the past 30+ years (450 nights - more than an entire year), this felt especially disappointing. What bothered us most was that the hotel seemed to think this room qualified as a Falls View room. It felt like a huge insult to our intelligence and not the level of service or transparency we expected from a luxury property. Guests paying extra for a view should receive the view they paid for—or be told clearly in advance what the room actually overlooks. In fairness to the hotel, they did move us after we went to the room and came back to complain, but we had to go through the large hassle of going back to the front desk and then moving our own luggage to the new room, which did have a much better view (please note that no one was answering the phone at the Front Desk when we called to see if we could move rooms.)

Our check in and overall experience was superb. Gorgeous lobby and attentive staff. Bethany at the desk helped us throughout the stay with her hotel and area knowledge. She is an asset to your staff.

The atmosphere of the hotel was just wonderful. I enjoyed the restaurants and a very relaxed atmosphere. I wanted to send a special thanks to Josh a valet attendant. Not only did he retrieve my car quickly but was patient enough to give me directions to interesting places to see in Greenville. Cathy R.

My friends and I took a trip to Grenville, SC and stayed at the Grand Bohemian. We had a great first impression, Josh from the valet team helped us and he was so nice and professional! We needed directions to Halls Chophouse (highly, highly recommend!!) and Josh was super helpful in directing us that way. The people at the front desk were very kind and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Our room was beautiful and it was such a nice, comfortable place to stay! There is so much to do within walking distance of the hotel, like shopping, coffee, restaurants, parks, etc. Definitely recommend the Grand Bohemian when visiting Greenville!!!

Everything about the Grand Bohemian is 5 Star. I have to offer special thanks to Josh V, a parking attendant who was respectful and treated my '57 Chevy with "kit gloves" ... thanks Josh.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville! The hotel looks out and has easy access to Falls Park downtown and to all other downtown activities and attractions in Greenville. Our stay was excellent! Many thanks to everyone on staff at GBL Greenville, we hope to return soon!
