I dont believe this motel lives up to its advertising. Spacious it is not. We stayed in a queen studio, but having stayed in a garden studio once before our choice this time was the wrong one. To describe it as having a kitchenette is misleading, there is no sink, or hot plates, but a microwave, fridge, toaster and very limited cutlery and crockery. You fill up the jug in the bathroom. The unit is VERY small, this one strangely enough had a king size bed which dominated the room. There is no comfortable chair, just 2 metal upright dining chairs and a very small glass topped round metal table. The bed was hard and the bathroom had a tiny basin dominated by the tap which protruded too far. There was no room for your sponge bag except on the floor. Sky TV is only available on the TV via your own subscription in a complicated sytem involving the internet. There is minimal space for suitcases. On the plus side it was very clean and tidy, in the centre of town and you could park at the door. We paid $180 (reduced from $190) and in all our years staying at motels this was the worst value. On this holiday we stayed at other locations in a queen studio and found much better value in central Wellington and Lower Hutt. Perhaps there is very little competition for this complex in Greytown,
