We were there as a family to attend the book fair. It was very easy to get to from the motorway. There were a few places to eat in the area, all within walking distance. The staff were friendly. The hotel is a little old, but clean. The breakfast was good, with something for everyone. We were satisfied.

Parking was scarce. Some evenings we barely squeezed in a tight space for the night. Once we had to go into the overnight pay garage. You need more/better parking options.

Drinking bodies had a noisy party in front of hotel, but the accommodation was okay, looking at the price.
Poor Wi-Fi, and some of the lights were not working.
Breakfast was excellent.
Big Supermarket near by.

The hotel is starting to show its age and should be partially renovated.
The cleanliness was so-so, for example there were hairs in the bathroom that weren't mine, more attention could be paid to cleaning.
The cooking facilities in the rooms were actually interesting. However, the room did have a stove but no pots or pans to use it with. This used to be different, probably because people no longer wanted to cook in the rooms.

So first the positive: the staff were always friendly and helpful and the cleanliness was also completely fine.
However, the condition of the hotel itself was a disaster. Burn marks on the furniture and carpets, a lampshade hanging down because the glue had already come off after years, lamps that didn't work at all, sockets hanging out in the hallway.
The location isn't really good in terms of noise either, as it's on a multi-lane main road with a tram and the motorway directly behind it. The fact that the windows, like the rest of the hotel, aren't the newest of course didn't make things any better.
