East Hotel was a good experience. The hotel and rooms were spotless, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly, but the location is a bit out of the way. If you have a car it is only a short drive to anywhere, and there is always Uber, which is what we did. It was an enjoyable visit.

We were in Canberra for a week for work, and my colleague and i had a two room apartment at East. Fantastic facility, would surely come back here. Spacious, well appointed rooms and very clean, good showers, everything we wanted. The GM himself provided dining recommendations, not only for his own restaurant, but also other dining venues in the wider Canberra/ACT region. Onsite restaurant was brilliant, awesome pasta and well priced, and for a second option, the steak across the road was also great.

Great hotel and a gorgeous walk to the Kingston foreshore. There is a large supermarket Supabarn nearby and the room amenities are great. The food is fantastic and you also have the well known Kingston Hotel for great food across the road too. Parking is available under the hotel and there are 4 levels, the first 2 are for the general public and the last 2 are for hotel guests. This is my favourite place to stay to wander around Kingston and the glassworks during the day and it's so close to the DFO in Fyshwick as well.

A very friendly hotel with great dining facilities and a well set up gym. I loved the cooking facilities in the room and outside areas to sit with guests. Very easy access to the city, lake, and the war memorial.

Fantastic two nights to celebrate our anniversary - complete with a card and gift from the Hotel. Have stayed here before and love the room - clean, quiet and well equipped. We had a great Autumn package including breakfast at Agostinis, 2 cocktails, free parking and late checkout. Had dinner one night in Agostinis and one night at the Kingston Hotel across the street. One lunch of superb pasta before leaving - nice walk to Kingston Foreshore. Although we live in Canberra, this was a great stay-cation for us. We will be back.

Great spot, dinner at Agostinis was excellent. Our two young kids loved the kids cubby room attached to our room. It was pretty noisy one night in the open bar area until very late, and we could hear the noise from our room, but thankfully, it didn't stop us from sleeping as we were exhausted anyway. Would certainly return with a young family for a short stay!
