Von außen ein tolles gepflegtes Gebäude.
Im Bereich des Restaurants und der Rezeption ist auch soweit alles okay. Wenn Sie jedoch den Hotelbereich betreten, geht es los. Fleckige, abgenutzte Teppiche. Im Zimmer war der Teppich durch Bleichemittel(?) fleckig auch war der Flor schon abgelaufen und nur noch das Gewebe sicht- und spürbar. Die Tapeten waren teilweise lose. Die Fugen der Fliesen im Bad dunkel verfärbt. Die Toilettenbürste bietet Lebensraum für alles mögliche, diese war wirklich ekelig. Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und bemühte Personal.

Au top: amabilité et gentillesse , le resto est excellent , l’hotel est au calme , la literie est exceptionnelle , les chambres sont confortables et accueillantes , le parking est vaste et securisé .

Met mijn handicap onderste ledematen heeft men de auto geparkeerd , een Amuse met gerookt paling, Oesters met een vinaigrette, perfecte kabeljauw, jonge spinazie, een heerlijke puree, een Bretoens desertie, met wijnen Wij gaan er ons vast restaurant van maken Wel controleren of ze open zijn, het Restaurant gaat samen met grote hotelreservering. of meetings. Een supper aanrader, ook voor groepen.

Le parking est gigantesque. Arrivés à 21h30, comme nous l’avions annoncé, nous avons poireauté 10 minutes à la réception avant qu’une personne - sympathique par ailleurs - daigne nous accueillir., en dépit de sonneries répétées. La chambre est bien isolée, propre et spacieuse, de même que la salle de bain. Le personnel est charmant. La literie est très correcte. L’ensemble est assez froid. Nous ne pouvons nous prononcer sur le petit-déjeuner que nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de prendre.

I tend to stay at the Abbey when I travel for business in Brussels area. The staff is always very helpful and friendly as well as efficient. Helping to organise taxis etc. The restaurant is usually good - although on my last visit the menu was quite limited. Good breakfast with varied options. Check out/reception can be a little busy if several guests are checking out at the same time. The rooms could do with some updating/modernising.During my last stay I found the room quite noisy in the night (not sure if it was a bathroom fan, faint humming noise throughout the night / not air con as the rooms don't have air con but electric fans).
