Being a lifetime titanium marriott Bonvoy member, there is a basic standard that all marriott hotels should adhere. I was in Switzerland for my best friends wedding and booked two nights here, well in advance, for two nights after my glazier express journey. Further, I had emailed the hotel in advance about transportation enquiries. Nothing was said, except whilst I am at the wedding, a day before check in, I receive an obnoxious email, asking me to confirm my credit card with an ultimatum, by 8pm or risk my reservation being cancelled. When I enquired, distracted from my best friends wedding, Ms Caroline was abrupt and advised I failed to comply with booking terms. Excuse me, your hotel failed to comply with the booking operations, if a credit card was required, you should have emailed me 5 days ago, not last minute and then you don't issue ultimatums, clearly someone needs basic customer service training. Appalled and disgusted with her messages and will also lodge a complaint to the marriott group.
