Booked a Studio Suite for 6 days and was given a regular room. Called twice to discuss with the manager and was told they were unavailable, never received a call back either. Told by one desk person that ‘technically’ it was a suite….it wasn’t. Had no intention of assisting, just fought with me to save a few bucks. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We don’t live too far from grinnell but just needed a couple days away. We do this every so often. This was our first time at this hotel and it’s by far been the best experience in the area. We will be back!!! The staff and breakfast is great and the hotel is very clean! Refreshing!

Although the outside had been damaged by a severe hail storm, there were no issues inside. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, the room immaculate, and when I asked for a desk light, it was delivered to my room. I would definitely stay there again. Plus, they give away free cookies in the evening.

Was going to report broken glass in the window of my room but when I took my dogs out to go potty I noticed extensive hail damage to the front of the property. It looks crappy from the outside, but they've stepped up and the inside is quite nice - despite what the outside looks like. Staff are very friendly and professional.
