Hotel de Oude Molen

Staying at this country inn was a warm and very enjoyable experience. My room had all of the basics and was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were just perfect - fresh fruit, juice, egg an yogurt, with breads, meats and cheese. The coffee was was the best. Then, there was the restaurant. It was beautifully decorated for the Chris**as season. The food was excellent. I had pork that was perfectly cooked, as were all of the sides. Of particular note was the service - attentive, helpful but not intrusive. This was better service and food than in most 5 star restaurants. My thanks and compliments to the management and staff for their hospitality. I had a wonderful stay. My only complaint is that I could not have stayed longer.

I recently had dinner with the family for my father's birthday. I knew the place when it belonged to the previous owner, but the new owners have refurbished it very nicely and given it a contemporary look. The staff and owner are incredibly welcoming and very attentive in service. There are nice dishes on the menu, whether you want to go for fish or meat. I had as a starter the Vitello Tonnato, consisting of Veal fricandeau, tuna tataki, tuna mayonnaise, and capers. A delicious combination and very tasty. I can't say other than that this food cafe is an excellent place to chat while enjoying a bite and a drink.
